I stayed at the Beach Pad for a few months at the OSA Beach House. The location was fantastic, 200 steps to the beach, perfect for daily swim. And the breathtaking sunsets. The apartment was perfect, had AC, a large bedroom with a huge walk-in closet and two beds to accommodate up to four people. Sometimes I slept with the sliders open so I can fall asleep with sound of the waves. Open living room and a kitchen so you can cook your own meals. Or make ceviche from fresh fish, ask Maria, she will set you up! A huge bathroom with instant hot water, a rare find in Costa Rica. The huge porch with high ceiling was perfect place for hanging in the hammock, reading, dancing, entertaining friends, meditating, writing and doing yoga. And a private parking if you have a car. Nature… I saw at least 20-30 macaws daily, there are a few almond trees at the Beach House and they provide food for the beautiful birds. Seeing other Wildlife is a daily occurrence: monkeys, parrots, and bush tailed squirrels and too many to list. I absolutely loved staying at the Beach Pad. Peaceful and convenient location made a perfect place to relax and reboot. Now about Maria. A wonderful person who knows how to delegate to assure you have all you need to make sure you will have an amazing stay at the Beach House. If you want to explore there are so many you can choose from! Surfing, deep sea fishing, a Corcovado National Park, Chocolate Tour, Zip lining, waterfall hikes, Luminescent Tours, Mangrove tours and so many more activities to mention! She is bilingual which was completely helpful and most importantly, she is a kind and cool lady! And I did fall in love with her dogs...

The home was set up with anything you could need in the kitchen along with all sorts of beach stuff while you're there.
The bed were super comfortable and the place was spotless. Being a woodworker, I especially loved the homes beautiful construction from local hardwood.
The place even had a couple kayaks to enjoy while we were there which we took full advantage of. We took the hosts advice on a tour and saw sea turtles and dolphins while we watched the sunset over the bay which was breathtaking.
And that comes to the host, mariah. She was extremely accommodating and was open to share her vast knowledge of the area. We even did a few morning walks with her and her pups while she helped us plan out our vacation. She seems to know everyone in the area and hooked us up with an amazing chocolate tour as well as taking us on a 4x4 trip to manapalo for some beach time as well as a guided waterfall hike which would have been tough without her as a guide on the many unmarked trails which change year to year.
The only thing we would have done differently is to stay longer at this amazing location and to take the host up on more of her generous...
Read moreI have had the pleasure of staying at The Beach House two different times. Each stay has been such a wonderful experience for not only myself, but also the others that traveled with me.
I have come down to kayak fish the pristine waters of the OSA. The house is laid out perfectly for people to come, unwind, and explore all that the OSA has to offer.
The house is very cleaned and updated with all of the necessary amenities. Maria is always available to assist with the logistics or questions you may have. Located just a stones throw from the shops and restaurants, the house is convenient located a couple minutes from the airport and right on the water.
It is very private and the trees are filled with the native scarlet macaws that will wake you up in the morning. The beautiful porch is perfect to unwind after a days adventure, enjoying views of the water and boats coming in from a day of fishing.
I recommend The Beach House with no hesitation and can’t wait to go back for...
