Hotel Cayuga — Hotel in Puntarenas

Celebramos nuestro segundo aniversario y decidimos hospedarnos en una suite con jacuzzi, considerando el costo adicional. Lamentablemente, al intentar utilizar el jacuzzi, nos encontramos con que los jets de aire estaban extremadamente sucios, resultando en una experiencia sumamente desagradable.

A pesar de comunicarnos con los encargados y cambiar de suite en dos ocasiones, nos enfrentamos al mismo problema. Es decepcionante resaltar que, en la segunda habitación, ni siquiera se molestaron en revisar si el jacuzzi estaba limpio o no, cuando en realidad estaba pasando lo mismo. Apreciamos sus esfuerzos al ofrecernos una cena y late check-out como compensación, pero la situación persistió en la tercera habitación. Aunque las impurezas fueron en menor cantidad, después de intentar llenar el jacuzzi, al final estaba sucio. Cabe mencionar que tuvimos que pasar por la incomodidad de recoger todas nuestras pertenencias y reacomodarlas tres veces por los tres cambios de habitación.

Adicionalmente, experimentamos problemas con el suministro de agua caliente, ya que no estaba funcionando correctamente en la tercera habitación , lo cual contribuyó a la insatisfacción general de nuestra experiencia.

El encargado, Don Marcial, se comprometió a brindarnos una solución durante nuestra salida, reconociendo la tensión y frustración que experimentamos en nuestro aniversario. No obstante, después de una semana nos enviaron un correo diciendo que no podían hacer nada más por nosotros. It's worth mentioning that we had to go through the inconvenience of packing and rearranging our belongings three times due to the room changes. Additionally, we experienced issues with the hot water supply in the third room, contributing to the overall dissatisfaction of our experience. The manager, Don Marcial, committed to providing a solution during our departure, acknowledging the tension and frustration we experienced on our anniversary. However, after a week, they sent us an email stating they couldn't do anything...

Ok, only stayed in this area due to our trip to Tortuga. I wouldn’t recommend staying in this town period but if you do this hotel is not bad. Very dangerous location around the hotel, they provide closed parking which felt safe, we never left the grounds and had a dinner in hotel. Rooms are basic more like motel style, with newly decorated bathrooms. Pool area is ok and updated as well. Hotel was nice enough to provide parking for whole day. Once again i would not recommend going to this town but if you do this hotel good option

Love rude response from hotel management….after spending 9 days in Costa Rica i can have an opinion where i felt safe or where looked really dangerous for my family….Most of the country is amazing...

Overall it was fine. Maybe one thing I didn't like was that the room didn't have windows, at least mine, but I know there are others that do, I should ask first. The breakfast, was ok, but not enough, something was missing. The staff, in general treated us well. Everything very clean and the pool was also fine. During the day there was a bit of noise, I don't think it was from the air conditioning, something that was a bit annoying, during the night it went away.
