When I got there, there were obvious shortcomings in the room. Here is a lost: the safe doesn't work the phone in the room emits a high-frequency sound The toilet bowl is chipped and there are no signs of an attempt to cover up the damage The toilet seat is wobbly and improperly adjusted The refrigerator doesn't work A fowl smell comes from the sewage in the bathroom and spreads to the whole room on the bathtub there is no glass for the possibility of showering without getting half the bathroom wet, and you can see that it once existed The air conditioning/heating thermostat does not work - temperture is fixed for the whole hotel at 23-24C, although there are options for adjustment in the rooms. Plus the first day the room was a bit cold, while the next day it was very hot.
The state of the room can be seen on my images.
I tried to solve some of the problems with the reception, to which I only got the answer that the room could not be changed due to a full booking and that the janitor was not working at the moment, so he would at least check the safe in the morning, which did not happen. This stay experience is not at all worthy of a 4-star hotel, nor the prices paid for it. The only reflection of any quality remained in the breakfast...
Read moreSuch a disappointment! The rooms are very small, with little ineffective windows, which you cannot open unless you are 1.80 m or standing on a chair. The air conditioning is too cold over night, so you just have to turn it off. In the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no soap, no shower cap, no toiletries in the bathroom, and, as an added bonus, the cold and hot water are switched on the sink faucet (in room 304). The receptionist who did our check-in brought us two pairs of slippers, as those were missing too. She was very kind and let us choose a bigger room (21 mp), because the one that was initially assigned to us (107) was unbelievably small (I checked and it does not appear in any of the booking.com photos) The view is inexistent - just a parking lot and some apartment buildings... The breakfast is poor and the coffee is so bad, I can't even describe it. This is not a 4* hotel! Furthermore, this is not a hotel that should function during this pandemic, as almost no COVID-19 measures are in place: no natural air ventilation, just one of the staff members wore a mask (the receptionist who did our check-out), there is no soap in the room, there was no disinfectant in the restaurant. All in all, it was...
Read moreThe hotel is good, but we had bad luck, that it was full when we arrived, and we were settled in FIRST 4 rooms that are not renovated, old and not functioning well, downstairs at the entrance of the hotel, where everyone is coming through and also the pub is there, and in the evening at weekends there REALLY loud live music. We had baby and babysitter with us and it was not so well for them. When we switched rooms at half stay for ones at second floor it was like on a different planet, beautiful renovated rooms, very cozy and pleasant.
Stuff is GREAT, really at your service and helpful, they tried there best to help us with everything.
Food is very nice too and there is plenty of it at a buffe.
Location is also good, 10-15 minutes from city center by car, and in a quiet part of town.
Overall It was a good stay, but next time I will know what room not...
