I had the pleasure to spent 3 nights at this hotel. It was completely renovated over a year ago and still looking as good as new. Considering the price of one night, I got above standard looking room with all a business traveler needs. ||There's a medium size LCD TV, which I think is mostly considered dust catcher nowadays. Air conditioning does not produce any sound except the bathroom. However, when you close the door, you don't here anything. The same applies to room. Once you close entrance door, you don't hear much of what's happening in hallway.||There's reception and cafe on the ground floor. Guest rooms are on 1st and 2nd floor.||||Now, let me tell you about the restaurant on premises. The food is just delicious. If you order meat, you get huge piece of meat and just enough, but not too much of side dish. It seems this is a standard all over Zagreb. ||Again, the prices are not cheap, but I would still except to pay more for what I got. Waiters are real professionals, talkative and willing to join small talk fun. I really enjoyed both evenings I...
Read moreThe food is fantastic, it's really homemade, prepared with high-quality ingredients. They also offer vegetarian and vegan dishes and are ready for small requests regarding changing the dish by your need/taste. You can see that the chefs and kitchen support staff pay attention to every detail. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and attentive to every need of the guest. The terrace where we had lunch has a wonderful ambiance of big trees and shade. A week later, we came to dinner on Thursdays, where we were surprised by live music led by two professional musicians, one on double bass and one on piano singing songs from the 60s and 70s, French, jazz, Sinatra, and all of that perfectly rounded off those two hours of enjoyment, shaking away stress from working day. My family will always come back to this "spa" place wanting to satisfy their...
Read moreA complete disgrace. We made a reservation yet somehow they weren’t ready for us (even though the restaurant was empty). The house wine was terrible, then there only had one type of bottled white wine. The waiter was very infrequent and only had 3 menus (there was 10 of us)! The food took about an hour to make, and when it came out the grilled meat wasn’t cooked all the way through. I didn’t even finish my meal. Finally we wanted to order dessert but after having to search for the waiter we were informed the kitchen was closed. No warning, nothing. I am embarrassed we invited family to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and we never plan on returning. Kakva sramota...
