Hotel Vila Tina — Hotel in City of Zagreb

It is great hotel, small, very quiet and intimate. The room we had was with terrace and is was great room, clean aswell as the bathroom. I had some issue with the hairdryer(when used you have to push the buttun whole time and it is hard). But it is minor. We had dinner at the hotel, and it was delicious. The staff is very serviceful and kind. The dinner was a little bit expensive but we ate fresh octopus iz Zagreb, so it was expected.The decoration of the hotel is very calming. There are many spots where you can sit to read a book or be on your laptop if you don’t wanna be in your room. They have parking. But the main problem is, they don’t have escalator, the stars are narrrow so if you have problems with stairs like me, then take it slow and ask lower rooms. The breakfast is great. The staff were incredibly nice, always at your service, they really spoiled us with preparing a special table with decorations for me and hubby just because we wanted to have dinner served in the terrace. It was a pleasure talking to them, all were very friendly young men, who did everything so we feel welcome and special guests. The restaurant itself is amazing, they cook incredibly good meals with a special touch of exquisite taste. Local beer a'd wine they recommended was also top. The room was perfectly clean, had a balcony and a bathtub, which was much appreciated after a long journey. Spacious parking, some of the lots were even covered. Possibility to pay with debit card if you don't happen to have local currency. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, we got scrambled eggs prepared for us, as well as genuine espresso and squeezed orange juice. We had a family party in Zagreb and 8 of of family members slept in Villa Tina. The hotel is located close to the Main Hospital Rebro and to the Maksimir Forrest. It is a 10min ride by car to the city center. |The rooms have enough space and the beds are comfortable. |The Staff is friendly and service oriented due to the fact that the Hotel is a Family own business. |We had all together a dinner at Villa Tina and the a la card menu is huge. I would recommend the Wiener Schnitzel and the Filet Steak with pepper sauce....
