Gabi Rooms — Hotel in Grad Šibenik

Firstly, the host was so friendly and accommodating; always checking that we had everything we needed and even helped us get to and from the bus station in Šibenik.||We were welcomed with cherry brandy, fruits and biscuits and told where everything is around the village and where to go. ||The beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was beautiful; we could see the local houses with their fruit and olive trees in the gardens as well as the wonderful scenery. ||The a/c /heater above the bed was so handy for when it got super cold in the evenings! ||The apartments and rooms are a 20 minute walk to the main entrance to Krka National Park of which we got a three day ticket. ||There is a supermarket, bakery and post office just around the corner from where you stay, plus a couple of cafes and restaurants on the walk to Krka...

We stayed at Gabi Rooms after a visit to Krka National Park, due to its closeness to the Park and decided to visit Sibenik in the evening, after checking into Gabi Rooms.|Marijana is the host at Gabi Rooms and she was excellent, extremely hospitable and friendly; she brought us a bowl of fresh cherries, some figs and cherry brandy to our room; all of which was delicious. |The Wi-Fi is very good and the room was very well presented, including a balcony and nice bathroom.|The location of Gabi Rooms is very convenient, as it is very near to Krka National Park and a 15 min drive from Sibenik, which is a must place to visit...

For the price of this room we weren't expecting much...how wrong we were, the room was large, clean and very comfortable. ||The shower was great and there was a TV and fast wifi. There was also a balcony with clothes drying facilities. The lady who sorted everything out was lovely and really friendly...a rarity in Croatia we have come to notice. ||We were given a homemade cherry liqueur and biscuits on arrival which was also a nice touch. ||Great location, just a 5 minute drive to krka national park. ||Just remember to take cash as they don't...
