Rented a Premium mobile home for a week two weeks ago.

Reception and the camp overall is really dirty, luckily we haven’t used the camp toliets so I can just assume what can be seen there. There was a trash bin on the side of the road within the camp that was full during our entire visit.

The “premium” mobile home has some huge issues that should have been noticed and taken care long time ago.

  1. location - although advertised as “beachfront”, the beach is 200 meters away, and there is a row of campers between the “beachfront” mobile home and the sea. That wasn’t a big issue for us, but can be for somebody that’s looking for beachfront place to stay for various reasons

  2. A/C - probably never cleaned/desinfected, smells like there is a rotten mouse inside

  3. mobile home (general) - my daughter couldn’t walk barefoot since the wooden terrace hasn’t been taken care of since its production and there is a lot of small wooden pieces waiting to go through your feet. Same with the fence.

  4. mobile home (furniture) - the matresses on the terrace were of different sizes and full of stains. The table is not for use literally, as it is leaned and it would probably fell if there is anything heavier than 5 kilos on it. Shelves in the kitchen are leaned, bathroom needs a renovation as hooks are falling from the walls etc.

  5. staff won’t ask you anything, I wouldn’t write this post if they asked me at the reception for a feedback

  6. “beach bar/restaurant” - ridiculously overpriced for the quality of the food and the drinks on menu, but mobile home was also too overpriced so…

Anyways, I would strongly not reccomend. Also, it would be nice that the management of those places actually visit/spend the night there unannounced so they can experience what are they actually...

Nestled in the midst of an enchanting pine forest, Camp Vira provided us with an unparalleled camping experience. From the moment we arrived, we found ourselves captivated by the camp's tranquil surroundings. The combination of friendly staff, pristine facilities, and the breathtaking natural setting resulted in an unforgettable stay. The tent parcels at Camp Vira were strategically positioned within the pine forest, offering both natural shade and a sense of harmony. We were impressed by the meticulous cleanliness and organization of the parcels, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay amidst the splendor of nature. Waking up each morning enveloped by the peaceful serenity of our surroundings was a genuine joy. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Camp Vira as an extraordinary camping destination that seamlessly blends the wonders of nature with utmost comfort. Our time at this remarkable camp has left us with cherished memories, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return to this heavenly retreat...

A really beautiful place, but not as promised.

In general, the site is best suited for tents. Here is a very large selection of beautiful shady places in the forest. We were lucky to get a shady spot for our caravan. The beach and water are beautiful. Very cozy.

The website promised the following services, which were not available: Restaurant Aloe Vera (closed) Minigolf (no longer in function) Beach volleyball (no net, hard stony sand, benches broken) Table tennis (not seen)

The cleaning of the sanitary station was very poor. You could see that some areas had not been cleaned for a long time. After a few days there was a strong smell similar to a dead animal. We reported it twice but nothing was fixed. Also, there are always a lot of garbage bags collecting at the garbage stations, which also emit a strong smell.

In general, it seems like everything used to be better, but at some point stopped being properly maintained.

Beach Bar very expensive and and waiter directly...

Arrived at this site having called the day before. They found us a lovely pitch with water for our large motorhome overlooking a lovely bay. The site is rugged and we didnt use the facilities much. The bar / restaurant didnt appear to be well supported but then the beautiful town of hvar is just 10 minutes away on the scooter. The young man helping us to find a pitch was lovely and the reception staff were very very helpful in particular anna marie. We ended up staying here for 8 nights. We spent our time away from the beach on the rocks in a little quiet bay where we could relax all day and enjoy the sea with our dog. Very very peaceful. It doesnt have all the whistles and bells of some of the bigger sites but the location is lovely and the sea is amazing!

Enough shade, crowded camp, family friendly (entertainment for kids), small beach, clean showers and restrooms, restaurant is a no go for me (i dont like these camp restaurants, same greasy food everywhere), pitches for tents from large to small, campers with tents leave cars parked outside camp. Friendly staff, really helpfull. Dont cycle in Hvar (narrow and crowded road). 4 km to old town of Hvar.
