HOTEL Florian & Godler — Hotel in Grad Karlovac

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, arriving by rental car at 2PM and parking in front to check in. A friendly receptionist registered our passports then gave our room key, WIFI password and explained breakfast/dinner times. After moving the car to the rear parking, we took our bags to the lone elevator and up to the 2nd floor. ||Room #211 was wood floored with a closet across a fully outfitted bathroom with an outstanding tile shower with fluffy towels, then a spacious bedroom with 2 firm twins, easy chair with bench, desk with mini bar and large wall TV with spotty satellite (BBC/CGTN in English). A window wall opened to a balcony (table and chairs) that looked over the hotel’s courtyard. I Don't know what to say to praise this place more! Yeah, it was clean and a nice place, for sure and with no doubt: Great parking, nice comfortable dinning area and bar, the food was on the top end or really good, breakfast was great! But the service, the staff, my God...AMAZING! The best service and best staff I have had a hotel in maybe 20 years or more! Petra is an Absolute ROCK STAR!!! What a great, professional lady! She worked like hell to make sure we were well taken care of and really looked after everything! She sorted us out like it was effortless. And she just seems to handle the day to day operations of the Hotel like its second nature! What a ROCK STAR!!! And Srdjan, in the Bar and Dinning area. This guy is simply ON IT!!! It is fast, polite, helpful and works his butt off to make sure you (and everyone else) is taken care of! The guy, I don't know where he gets his energy and how he is so proficient, but he is just on it!!! Hey...Hotel Manager/Owner...you have an all-star...

We booked here to break our journey on the way down to Split. At the end of a long, hot journey, it was like discovering an oasis of calm and comfort. The greeting on the reception was warm, competent and friendly. Our rooms were spotless and designed with expert style and enjoyable comfort. Color coding and decor had also been of great importance in the design. Ritual bath essentials provided and beautiful toweling. We had planned to eat out but the restaurant terrace proved so inviting that we ate there and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Five minutes walk from the town center but absolute peace and quiet reigns here. ||I have never seem such a selection on the breakfast buffet, definitely spoilt for choice. Parking directly in the courtyard opposite the rooms.||We were so impressed that we booked again for our return journey. Definitely a place...
