We have been regular customers of this hotel for many years and have recommended it to family members who have also stayed here. Previously, under the former manager, this hotel felt like paradise. However, since the new manager took over, it has become unfriendly and poorly managed, not even worthy of two-star service.||On a positive note, the breakfast staff are lovely and helpful, and I am grateful to them for making this stay somewhat tolerable. Also a special shout out to the German chef who looks like a genuinely nice person. ||Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The beach is grossly understaffed; during our first week, only two employees were handling the roles of umbrella attendants, waiters, and bartenders. While they were hardworking and friendly, they were clearly overworked. One employee looked like he was about to faint from heat and exhaustion. I and some other customers were genuinely concerned for their health.||If you have allergies, be aware that they use pasta straws for all beach drinks, which affects the taste and poses a risk for those with allergies. Additionally, tables on the beach were not cleared, leading to a buildup of old plates and leftover food. This issue is not the fault of the staff but rather a failure of management to assign someone to keep the area tidy.||Alcoholic drinks are seriously watered down. If you order wine, expect to be given more like half a unit, rather than one.||If you use their laundry service, be prepared for your clothes to return smelling of harsh chemicals. I'm unsure of the products they use, but the odor is extremely unpleasant.||The new manager is EXTREMELY rude. In my experience at luxury locations around the world, I have never encountered a manager who would simply walk away in the middle of a conversation about an issue we were trying to resolve.||The hotel says that it’s dog-friendly but it’s anything but that. We brought our miniature poodle after being assured over the phone it was a pet-friendly hotel only to find out upon arrival that small dogs are not allowed anywhere in the hotel and must remain in the room all day. The manager even threatened to evict our family of five if we didn’t comply with the rules. When we brought up the fact that we were given incorrect information at the time of booking, the manager actually said that “the past is the past and there is no point in talking about it”. ||The ironic this that while we faced threats and horrible treatment, we saw other people bring their dogs to the beach every single day. One of the dogs was the size of a German shepherd.||In the end, we couldn’t wait to leave terminating our stay prematurely. We didn’t want to continue to give our money to someone who had no respect or customer service. We once loved this place, but it now feels ruined and poorly managed. Shock that will take a while...

Read moreWe stayed here twice this summer. The location is amazing- in a lovely bay with a private beach, sunbeds and umbrellas.||The staff were very kind and welcoming. In June we even got a free upgrade, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was always tasty, and the rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated.||There were a few problems though. Room service was not always reliable. A couple of times they forgot items, and once my partner got gluten in his food even though he has an allergy. He was sick for a few days. The reception staff apologized and gave us a discount at checkout, but we would have preferred a direct apology from the kitchen.||We were also disappointed that dogs are not allowed on the beach. Many guests complained about this. Since the hotel charges around €40 a day for pets, we thought maybe small dogs on a leash could be allowed.||Laundry service was another issue. Our clothes came back with a very strong chemical smell, so strong that we didn’t wear them afterwards. It would be better if they used gentler detergents.||Overall though, it’s a wonderful hotel in a beautiful place. Great breakfasts and...
