VILLA GOGA NOVALJA — Hotel in Grad Novalja

Villa Goga is glorious, really beautifully finished and the bedrooms, gym and pool areas are fantastic.

However the main kitchen living area is tight and the kitchen is extremely limited - certainly not designed to cook for 10 people.

There are also privacy issues - the pool area is viewable from the road and also from neighbours on three sides. At one point we had someone wander right into the pool area from the road looking for somewhere to stay. A gate or more hedges would be appreciated.

Finally we come onto the deal-breaker for Villa Goga: it's security. Naturally the villa owner employs a security company to look after the villa. They ensure tenants are keeping to the villa rules of not playing loud music after 11pm, etc. The first night, the security company came round and explained the rules to us and also the warning system if we broke the rules (yellow card; red card). A few nights later we were breaking the rules by playing music after 11pm but they did not exercise the warning system, instead they said we had 10 seconds to leave the Villa entirely and they started counting down from 10. They called one of our party a bh and when my boyfriend said "we're on our way, please don't call us names" they hit him. They continued in this manner, calling us names (mr f*r, Adolf, monkeys, Auswitz) and physically abusing us (hitting, kicking and spitting) all the way out the villa and onto the street outside before they eventually left on their moped. We never retaliated once. We have video evidence of the physical and verbal abuse. The villa owner came round the following day as we no longer felt safe in our accommodation and they said we're the first instance in 5yrs. Hopefully we were just unlucky but I would NOT recommend this accomodation until they stop using Mad Max...

Die Villa war echt der Wahnsinn. Wir waren insgesamt zu acht (im Alter von 23-28), eine Woche da und die Größe der Villa war vollkommen ausreichend (eines der Schlafzimmer wurde von uns nicht mal benutzt). Die Villa war rundum sauber und sehr modern, da wünscht man sich direkt man wäre reich um sich selber so ein Ding leisten zu können. Das Highlight war natürlich unter anderem der Pool den wir so gut wie rund um die Uhr benutzt haben. Da das Wasser für einige von uns etwas zu frisch war fragten wir den Eigentümer ob er die Temperatur etwas höher drehen könnte, dies tat er auch umgehend und wenige Stunden später waren alle glücklich.

Um auf die anderen Bewertungen hier einzugehen..das man die Villa von mehreren Seiten aus einsehen kann kann ich nicht bestätigen, da wurde der Sichtschutz in der Vergangenheit anscheinend verbessert. Und was diese Sicherheitsfirma angeht, mit der hatten wir auch 0,0 Kontakt. Haben tagsüber auch die Box laufen gehabt und uns Abend einfach etwas ruhiger verhalten. An zwei Abenden waren wir auch im Noa Club feiern um uns die Batterie abzuklemmen (Alkohol haha) und somit nicht mal in der Villa.

Die Lage war ebenso perfekt. Ein großer Supermarkt ist nur wenige Meter entfernt und bis zur Promenade läuft man ebenfalls nur ein paar Meter weiter (alles locker zu Fuß erreichbar). An der Promenade gibt es auch zahlreiche Restaurants, da nehmen sich die Preise nichts im Vergleich zu DEU. In jedem wo wir waren hat es auch sehr geil geschmeckt.

So jetzt reicht es aber auch, hoffe die Bewertung hilft dem einen oder anderen. Danke für alles an Martina (Vermittlerin der Villa (über Booking) und viel Spaß bei eurem Aufenthalt. Jeder einzelne von uns hatte auf jeden Fall einen Mega Urlaub und wir würden die Villa auf jeden Fall...

Abbiamo passato dei giorni di Ferragosto meravigliosi in questa splendida villa dotata di tutte le comodità, è stata una vacanza totale. Comoda e vicina a tutti i servizi, ma in zona tranquilla e sicura la notte. Siamo stati felici a Villa Goga. Lorena sempre disponibile, gentile e molto simpatica, Marin ci ha organizzato un fantastico giro tra le isole con la sua compagnia di barche.
