Aminess Vival Lišanj Family Hotel — Hotel in Grad Novi Vinodolski

Hello, we have come yesterday from this hotel. We were there in the term 17.8.-24.8. Fortunately or unfortunately I can compare the room in the casa 3* and hotel room. Originally, we had the room in Casa 3, the building was probably 100-150meters from the hotel. The area was clean, on the each floor in the middle there are playing cubes, triangles etc for kids, it is really nice, but when you have the room near this, you can hear noise, a lot of noise. We had the room on the fourth floor under the roof. The room was not so big, but nice, with balcony of side look to the sea. The sink was on the "corridor" of the room but this was ok, no problem for us. We wanted refrigerator, we did not have it with the explanation, that in this 3 hotel, there is no possibility to rent it. So room ok, clean, balcony nice, smart tw with netflixh (unlogged) and youtube. We had the problem during the storm, water leaked into the room. We informed the receptionist and they gave us the room in the hotel immediately. Then we received apologize letter and bowl of fruits - i can say that people there do everything to make you more better and happy. The room in the hotel was bigger, sink was in the bathroom, we had perfect terrace, TV without smart application but there is screen mirroring ( we have some kind of mold in the room, i said them when we check out because we did not want to move again, and the toilet extractor did not work - we informed receptionist but they did not make it fix in the rest of 3 days which we were there - i can say, that rooms in the hotel are much better and more comfortable, because everything is in the hotel restaurant, playgrounds, Playstation room and pools. These activities for kids are briliant there. You can let the children there and you can do your own activities. We had light all inclusive there, the food is really delicious, there are meat foods, pastas, vegetarian foods, many fruits, vegetables and sweets. But they have the problem with cleanliness of plates, cutlery and all these kitchen accesories, everytime you can feel dirt in your plates and you can see it too. this should be really improved, because it is disgusting sometimes. Staff was really nice there, helpfull. The pools were ok, indoor pools: there is some type of folie in there and this was not made correct, it is not fixed to the pool - both of the inside pools you can feel like in the bag sometimes :D i do not know how to explain but it is really weird.. These two pools are heated, it is perfect when you dont have good weather like we had. Outside pool with salt water is cold, but perfect - maybe the hotel could think about some music there. The entrance to the sea near the hotel is not very good for kids but you can find small beach cca 300m from the hotel... we paid 70e for the parking place (for me it is much when you are here, parking should be more cheaper or free). There are also activities for adults and family evenings. So it was nice vacancy, can be improved and weather there is unstable. But thank you...

Hotel is freshly renovated so keep that in mind. Some of the older reviews about this hotel, are still about the old one which had just 2 stars.

When you enter the lobby you can already tell that the hotel is brand new, everything looks and smells so new and fresh. The room is incredible. Really big, bright and everything is really well put together. We had a room with a sea view, it was just awesome. It has a nice big TV and what is really important in this modern days that everyone has so many electronic devices, in each room you have some sort of mini router for wi-fi, it's really powerful and fast, I was surprised! Hotel Restaurant is amazing, food is incredible, very well cooked and delicious, with plenty of choices. Hotel pools are good, you have plenty of sunbeds to choose from. I just wish that in the high season which is in July and August they would do some sort of checking at the gates at the beach which leads to hotel pools because there is just a sign "For hotel guests only" but the doors were open and we noticed few people who were not hotel guest entering the pool area, currently it was not an issue since it was not high season. But nevertheless, the pools & bars are nice. Beach is also pretty nice, you have some sand at the start and when you go to the sea as well. Okay so now too few complains that I have and that is also the reason why I didn't rate it with 5 stars. Hotel parking, we were in luck because the first day we arrived really early and we found one free parking space, but as I read here before we decided to book there were few people that couldn't find parking at they parked at Post Office or something and got the ticket 2 months later. I guess I'm just trying to say to watch out for this.

The last thing - WELLNESS! At the start, I thought it was a joke. I know it is a FAMILY HOTEL but in 4 stars hotel, there should be a better reception in wellness. Kids were jumping into the pool but this didn't really bother me. What really bothered me was that when you entered the sauna area there were no separated doors or anything so when you were inside children were going in and out all the time so there was no point in being inside because the heat was getting out all the time. Even though I asked women at the wellness reception to try to watch out for that or warn them or something she ignored it. Usually, in hotels wellness or in just wellness in general, there is a sign +16 for children and there is proper reception which has a job not just to show you around and give you towels but also to look at wellness areas from time to time. At the end of our stay, I noticed some well-dressed women and men who were talking with reception girl at the entrance of wellness so I guess other guests complained too, so I hope they will do something about it in the future.

All in all, I must say, the hotel is really nice especially because we were one of the first since it was renovated. The food is amazing, pools are nice as well as the beach. All in all nice...

A wonderful hotel for families who want attraction for the little ones and big kids! ||All the staff is very friendly and always with a smile which is a big plus at arrival! ||The rooms are spacious enough and have all one needs. The hotel was very quiet for us at night and we had a good rest each night! ||There is a gaming room/ fitness center/big indoor playground with trampolines, ball pits and a mini kids club with an evening disco which was a hit for young and old!||The variety of food for all meals is mind blowing! You can find something for everyone!||The location is set wonderful, right at the sea with a big playground!||Negative ||Unfortunately a big negative is housekeeping! I thought we were just not that lucky with our room but unfortunately for the 4 nights we noticed that housekeeping just cleans the surface. We continuously had to ask for towels/ robes and toilet paper... ||Upon arrival the toilet had stains/ streaks from the previous visitors, as well as the shower had a bunch of hair in the corners from other ppl. It was very disgusting the least to say! ||When mentioned this to the front desk (the lady was overwhelmed with all the arrivals at once and being by herself) apologized and said she would report it. No offer to change rooms or anything else was done about our complaints.||Thank god I ALWAYS have disinfectant with me and we managed alone.||One can notice the staff constantly on their private phones and watching YouTube or playing games! ||The game room has no age limit, so your 10 year old will be able to put on a game that is not age appropriate for him/ her. You have to stay on top of it.||Even though there is a lot of food variety it is not well seasoned.||Parking!!!! €10 per day!!!!! Ridiculous! There are plenty of parking spaces around the hotel for a fraction of that price! Just unload the luggage and park the car later.||We were curious about staying an extra night since the kids truly enjoyed their time. First we asked for extending out check out time and that was not granted due to a fully booked situation. So I asked for another night and sure enough the manager found a room for €100 more we paid on booking.com!!!!!!
