Hotel Bebić — Hotel in Grad Ploče

For what it is, the price is way too much. I have stayed in nicer places for far less.

Breakfast was atrocious. Plastic cheese, paté that is off judging by smell and colour (no DLC either). The scrambled eggs were on a large platter and cold. The plates were not super clean either, with evidence of some tomato sauce still there from the previous person's meal.

The bed was not comfortable. The bedside table lights were wired directly into a broken plug socket. This is very dangerous and an electrical fire hazard. Furthermore, the electrical cable ran underneath the mattresses of both beds. Other elements of the room are also in disrepair; windows, balcony door, shutters, skirting boards and the toilet seat.

The WiFi does not work on the 3rd floor where I was staying. The TV dates from the 80s (I think).

Although the staff were very friendly and helpful in suggesting cool spots to check out, I was disappointed that they offered no discount because of the AC that was not functioning. It was made worse by the time of year (+35°C) and the fact that hot air vents blew directly into my room all night.

I feel bad giving this honest review because the staff were so nice, but the other reviews on Google are not accurate and will not help the hotel to improve its service, hence my brutal honesty.

I will also mention that the hotel does not feature most of the ammeneties one would expect in a 3 star hotel. Hence the 1 star.

Also beware the location: you can hear the loud industrial noises emanating from the large port harbour 24/7. If you are sensitive to noise pollution, avoid the town in general. If you don't mind it, then this area is well worth checking out as it is as of yet unspoiled by the tourism industry at...

We contacted this hotel at night to get an accommodation during a long trip from Italy to Albania. I asked a room for me and my 4 family members. On the phone the man who answered gave us two options, room or apartment. We have chosen the second (cheaper) option, onnthe phone it was 58 euro, when we arrived it was 68, but unable to fit 5 persons. So we have been forced to take the "apartment" which is NOT an apartment but just a double room with FOUR single beds and paid 116 euro without breakfast. The room was horrible, dirty and consumed carpet, broken chair, very rough and old furniture. It was an emergency for some rest to drive again the day after. But trust me better...

W pokojach brak gniazdek przy łóżku (trzeba ładować telefon pod sufitem na telewizorze podwieszanym i w łazience), co do telewizora to albo nie działa pilot albo nie ma żadnych kanałów, łóżka w jakiś sposób są zespojone z szafką nocną (niewygodne), drzwi balkonowe ledwo co się trzymały, można w banalny sposób przejść na balkon sąsiada, w łazience doczepić się mogę jedynie o brudną kabinę prysznicową jaką zastaliśmy przy przyjeździe. Pożywienie: 1.Dzień- na obiado-kolacje dostaliśmy na przystawkę talerz sałaty i cztery kromki chleba (chleb na cztery osoby), na pierwsze danie był PRZEsolony ryż i dobra (to muszę przyznać) pierś z kurczaka, a na deser był arbuz wyjęty z lodówki chwilę przed podaniem. Dzień- na śniadanie był szwedzki stół, który ledwo by starczył dla jednej osoby. Na obiado-kolacje na przystawkę dostaliśmy kapustę posiekaną i również cztery kromki chleba na cztery osoby, na drugie danie były frytki i momentami surowe mięso, a na deser także wyjęta chwilę wcześniej z lodówki nektarynka. Dzień- śniadanie było takie same jak wcześniej.

Dla osób szukających odpoczynku typu "plażing" (spędzanie czasu na plaży i pływaniu) stanowczo odradzam przyjazd tam. Od hotelu do najbliższego kąpieliska jest z jakieś 10/15 minut drogi i co gorsza nie jest to nawet plaża kamienna, a beton, na którym trzeba się jakoś ulokować. Woda w której mamy się kąpać nie zachęca do siebi, gdyż zaraz obok jest stocznia/port co sprawia, że czasami do brzegu przypływają odpady z obiektu (np. farba). Co do obsługi to nie mam się jak przyczepić, ale zastanawiającym faktem jest to czemu właściciele/kelnerzy w czasie gdy można posprzątać w hotelu, obsłużyć gości w barku to postanawiają usiąść na dworze i pić przez całą noc głośno krzycząc co utrudnia zasypianie. Szukając naprawdę dobrego miejsca do spędzenia czasu naprawdę radzę omijać Ploće i hotel Bebić szerokim łukiem, a wybrać się chociażby na Korcule, czy też do...
