Bed & Breakfast Daniela — Hotel in Grad Poreč

After spending nearly 3 hours crossing the Slovenia/Croatian border, we arrived tired and late at Daniela's to be greeted with a warm welcome by the staff and shown to our very nice room and told that they had kept a table for us in the restaurant for dinner. The week kept on the same excellent way every day. There are a total of 8 rooms around the pool with a couple of rooms above the restaurant. The rooms are large and spacious with a big bathroom and balcony or terrace overlooking the 10x5 m pool The in house restaurant serves a variety of excellent meals at very reasonable prices. We chose this hotel in first instance because it is an ideal starting point for visiting Istria; from here to Umag, Porec, Rovinj, Pula, and the inland of Istria if you have a car, it is not very far. But it is also such a quiet peaceful place only a few km from the sea and the hotels full of tourists. You can eat local food here between the local people. The restaurant of the family is in one word 'great'. The family of Daniela who run the hotel and the restaurant are just warm, helpful, friendly and also dedicated people. We were looking for a quiet stay with some extra amenities near central Istria. We were very pleased with the room size, cleanliness and service in general. The breakfast was excellent, in their restaurant wich we full-heartedly recommend for lunch and dinner.||Keep in mind that there are rooms above the restaurant as well as newer acommodations with a pool and a large courtyard.
