Holiday house Kika — Hotel in Grad Pula

What an amazing place. The hosts could’ve fit twice as many guests in but the set up is perfect for 2-3 couples or a small family. They are enormously helpful and one of my biggest regrets was not going to help them harvest their olives for local produce, after being invited, but we were busy that day. The pool is fantastic, it’s not heated but if it’s sunny and over 20’deg, it’s perfect. 6 loungers and stand alone changing room with hair dryer, toilet and outside shower. The fixtures and fittings are top of the range, top, top brands. Absolutely spotless and the finish is top notch. A couple of points to mention. The beaches are 20-30 mins walk on roads without pavements on either side. It’s stressful to do as even in October, it was quite busy. Go to the Lost beach or Emily. Do not use the airport taxi service. Uber is 3 times cheaper, in fact, use Uber for any local travel. Take the arriva coavch trip to Rovinj, well worth it. We ate at the local grill house, we had a good experience here. The hosts live next door, and their cousin lives on the other side (he has a very loud dog who barks at you when you walk near it). Kristina has a lovely home and our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool is crystal clear and clean and using other pools in other locations, we could see and feel the clear difference. Overall our host was amazing, like having a family member look after you in a foreign country. The outside area is also fantastically beautiful. You have everything you need. Grill, pool etc. And if you value privacy, this is the right place for you. Would come again...
