Pansion Sport — Hotel in Grad Pula

We opted for this B&B after reading the few reports on trip advisor. The price of the room with breakfast fitted perfectly with our budget. When we arrived we were slightly dismayed at its rural location, but we quickly found the local bus stop and for 22 kuna (£2.30) the two of us went into Pula in about 30 mins. Leaving the hotel and turning right onto a dirt track takes you down the winding track to the coast or beach area of Verudela. Its about 750 meters but is a shortcut to a very nice area enjyed by campers and locals and goes on for miles. We walked all the way along it to Fasana, where there are some nice restauarnts. Plenty has been said about the hotel, the air conditioning is good, the breakfasts are ample with a good selection. Most guests are German, but there was the odd Slovenian, Italian, Croation and Briton. There is a bit of a language barrier, only one of the family really spoke good English and she may be leaving, things may be tricky after that. But it would add to the fun of staying here. Only about 15 main dishes were on the restauarnt menu, so choices for a long stay may be a bit repetitive but they were filling and very tasty. This was the last accomodation on our 3 week trip in Croatia, and what a way to finish off. It is a family run establishment set in a quite area of Pula. A three storey residence complete with a beautiful swimming pool, a breakfast room and an la carte dinner restaurant. The rooms were of a generous size, clean and fitted with air cons. The staff (family members) were ever so helpful and willing to please. They advised us of where to have our laundry done, very reasonably, where to sight see etc. The food we ate from their "restaurant" which is set around the pool, was the best food eaten on Croatia. It was home made and tasty and extremely affordable. On the morning of our early departure we were given a picnic breakfast in lieu of missing out on the inclusive breakfast with the room. We thought this was very thoughtful as they went out of their way to accomodate our early departure. I highly recommend this establishment and will not hesitate to return over...

Abbiamo alloggiato due notti in questa pensione a conduzione famigliare situata a circa 3 km dal centro di Fazana, ristrutturata di recente. Si trova in una zona residenziale molto tranquilla a tutte le ore, per lo meno in bassa stagione, il mare così come il centro di Fazana sono raggiungibili in 5 minuti di macchina e lì attorno ci sono un panificio e numerose trattorie. Ci hanno assegnato un appartamento in quanto viaggiavamo in quattro, due adulti e due bimbi di 6 e 4 anni. A parte la scomodità di dover salire due piani senza ascensore, l'appartamento era spazioso (piccola cucina, divani letti per i piccoli in salotto, bagnetto e camera matrimoniale, più una grande terrazza da cui si poteva vedere il mare e le isole dei Brioni) e pulito. Il servizio è davvero essenziale nel senso che la stanza il secondo giorno non è stata rassettata, la biancheria non è di altissima qualità così come la comodità dei letti; il doccino in bagno lavava tutto tranne chi c'era sotto e la colazione non è variegata come la si può trovare in alberghi o b&b ma è comunque abbondante, dolce e salata. L'arredamento, è vero, e modesto e un po' fuori moda, ma cosa ci si aspetta se si sceglie di prenotare in una pensione a un prezzo così ridotto?? Noi abbiamo prenotato via internet pagando meno di 140 euro complessivi in 4 per due notti, colazione inclusa e direi che non è male davvero. I signori che conducono la pensione, marito e moglie, poi sono molto carini e gentili e ci hanno dato suggerimenti su come muoverci durante il nostro soggiorno. ||La consiglio assolutamente per soggiorni brevi e mettendo in conto che comunque è fuori mano per cui se si vuole raggiungere la spiaggia si deve prendere la macchina.
