Based on a stay mid July. Demographics: vast majority of age between 55 and 70+. Very few are younger (children excluding). Mostly couples and families. Convenient for parents with young children with a lot of facilities and entertainment for youngsters. Mostly Germans, Austrians and Eastern Europeans. Overall, large crowd. Safety: 100%. At no point we felt any concerns. You can see guys in yellow shirts patrolling on bikes occasionally, but you are not feeling secretly monitored like in some other resorts. Facilities: large swimming pool but not heated and water was cold, very good gym (open 9am till 8pm same as swimming pool), several restaurants and bars, good size but overpriced supermarket, nice marina, tennis court, table tennis, football and volleyball areas. Beach: very beautiful long stretch coastal beach with gravels (no sand) - bring beach shoes with you to swim! Super clean! Plenty of free lounges and beach umbrellas, even though half are reserved. Still, you will be able to find an empty spot (maybe not in the first row but you will find a few). Some areas are very crowded but there are also some nice isolated areas for just one or two beach chairs in a rocky beach. The area between Grill Snack and Spaccio restaurants was popular with elderly. Area around Havana Bar and Uvala restaurant attracted slightly younger crowds. Dress code: in the swimming pool and at the beach most people follow the rules, but those who don’t are not told off. Same goes for the rule of not reserving beach chairs - many are reserved with towels throughout the day. Outside of beach and pools, most textile since it is mandatory for entering shops, reception, restaurants, etc. Rooms: we stayed in LA 2+1. The building did not look any special but the room was very good. Clean, spacious, recently renovated. The room was cleaned daily with bedsheets and towels replaced every two days. There are AC, kettle, fridge, safe and a small TV in each room. Reasonable WiFi in the room and throughout the camp. Covered terrace with chairs and a table - great for an evening drink. Food: We booked a half board for the price of extra EUR 7 per person per day (walk-in price EUR 17 for breakfast and EUR 27 for dinner). Breakfast was ok but the same each day. Buffet dinner was better with a variety of European dishes which changed daily. Drinks are extra to pay. Things to do in the area: certainly a visit to Rovinj, a beautiful old city 10 mins drive. For a different kind of experience: FKK Kriz and s. club Anaconda. Our recommendations to Valata management: Open air cinema Breakfast variety Sport activities for teenagers

Set on small lush very gentle hills, that almost unnoticeably slope down to multiple beaches and swimming areas, as well as its own small boat harbor, Valalta is beautiful, with the views and sunset being magical! It is a huge resort with hiking/biking trails that go up to a set of observation platforms on the hills that separate the resort from the inlet to the north, it has a half dozen restaurants and bars, and it's own grocery store to support the thousands of guest, most of whom seem to be German or Austrian. They have a free Kids Club during the day to drop the kids off to give the parents a rest... and Valalta has tons of kids this is a family resort with about half the guest being families with kids, with more kids late June through August with school vacations. All the food on sight is good and the prices are very reasonable and their grocery store and fruit stand even more so. The Pizza restaurant does great pizza reasonably cheap a real bargain, Uvala is the higher end restaurant that specializes in Croatian and seafood that has a marvelous view of the sea. For more mid range eating there is the Grill that does pasta and meat dishes that was good if not great but very cost effective again with a good view as it’s right off the main beach. They also have a seafood restaurant we did not get to but others guest seem to enjoy, and a large buffet restaurant for those who get the full or half board meal option. The water slide is the place for the older kids and teens, it's set right on the sea on a built up area, but the slide ends in a pool and not the sea, you can and most of the older kids and adults will jump off the end of the built up area, about a three meter drop to the sea. In this area are blow up climbers, bouncing things, and many swim platforms set apart so you can swim from one to the other, climb on and lay out when you get tired. Also at the water slide area, for the adults is the Havana bar, you can sit at tables placed in a shallow pool and enjoy some really good drinks while keeping an eye on your kids... We had a mobile home, basically a two bedroom and kitchen, that was very comfortable with a nice patio deck that we lived on most of the time we were not at the beaches or water slide or pool bars… Valata also has a wide range of apartments as well as the camping options. They have washers/dryers that you get coins to use from the reception if you need to do laundry, a pharmacy, gift shops, and a medical clinic as well. The only problem with Valalta is leaving!

Place is nice but some staff is very rude. Especially the young guy at the exit is extremely impolite and made us waste time because he could not understand the invoice made by the reception just few minutes before, see attachment. He stated the last night was not paid and he made us wait while he contacted the reception. The guy paid to check the invoices do not understand them and does not know how to read them, seriously? It is totally unacceptable to waste time because of a guy who doesn't know how to do his job and on top of that is very rude. They definitely need to train their employees better in how to behave towards paying customers!

This is a very large holiday complex catering for naturist. There is accommodation with breakfast as well evening meals, half board. Also many spaces for motor homes, caravans and tents. The majority of people are from Germany in motor homes. There are a number of bars and restaurants on the complex site. Naturism is expected throughout the day. The sea is clear and rocky so bring beach “rock shoes “. There are some gentle stony beach’s too. A large water slide and large inflatable climbing rafts The complex has a very large coast line all paved so you get a long promenade to walk on which make it feel very relaxing. Numerous sunbeds, although these are hard plastic the swimming pools one are more comfortable. Rules state no reservations of Sun beds. There is always one isn’t there, but most people respect this rule. As the site is about 1 square km there are lots of things to do. There is also a walking trail and watch towers for views. There is an outdoor swimming pool complex. With 3 large pools and bubble pools. In the pool area there is massage and hairdressers café and bar. The massages are professional and cash payment. Be aware there were very firm massages and not gentle pamper ones. After about half hour I was willing to sign my confession. During the evenings there are band or singers that perform at a selected restaurant each night. We found “beach“ snack bar / grill the most suited to us with general bar and back ground music. There is one main road through the site so there is hardly and car movements. Generally accepted to be clothed if you are in restaurant, lunch time nude or not. To go in shop or reception you need to be “dressed”. We just used changing robes that were our towels anyway. We stayed in an apartment which was very modern clean and spacious. The apartments were very nice. . The rooms are serviced every day and there is three day towel swap. It also had air con and TV.

There is NO kettle. There is NO kettle. We had brought our own as well a own cups and tea bags, also European electric plug adapter, milk is sold in the mini supermarket. For the restaurants Indian tea is closest to normal PG tips in the hot drinks area. The supermarket is well stocked with everything you might have forgotten and more. Wine by the litre is sold from tap did not taste bad either. There is also a tick tack shop selling rock shoes to post cards, fridge magnets and strangely swimming costumes which you not allowed to wear. We were impressed with our meals which were also included. The food as a package you eat in the main restaurant. Things like chicken beef pork fish and vegetables with a salad bar as well think “Harvester” at home. There is mini golf( free). The balls are in the hole next to the cabin with a plastic cover which is hard to get off, however some days they are in the bucket. There is also another couple of crazy golf courses by tennis and table tennis courts. Golf is free and table tennis. We did not play tennis. The whole site is well kept with lots of staff. Do not bring a yellow T shirt as this is security staff uniform. Light sky blue for maintenance and admin. The atmosphere is wholesome and respectful as a family naturist site. The younger staff are pleasant and chatty the. Alberto,Daniel,Anathasia And Diana Thank you for being pleasant and cheerful chatty staff. older staff more functional. We came by plane and pre booked transfer although we booked private transfers another couple who had also booked private transfer joined us, this was cheeky of the taxi company. There is a bus that runs from the camp to the nearest town Rovinj which a beautiful place to visit. As most people drive in from Europe there little reason for the site to have transportation organised to air ports Booking the site we found awkward and the web site not easy to...
