This is an overage hotel a few km's away from the centre of Split and it had direct view to the Adria see from my room. This was the cheapest hotel I got from booking for my group. The staff was fantastic and really helpful,if I will ever come back I will because of them, not for the conditions of the hotel. The bed is average, the elevator seems like from 2 World War( 2 of my group members got stocked there) . The heating system didn't work ( I should ask to get repaired, but I was too tired for that) The breakfast was very good . I recommend this hotel for people who are not too picky about the conditions and are looking for cheaper price at the sea.

It looks like a huge hotel from old times. It is capable of hosting big groups of teams or something like that but it drops in quality. The staff tries it’s best to make the place look better but unfortunately it needs a lot of changing. The place that the hotel is, provides a lot of options for walking, running and enjoying the Dalmatian coast.

It used to be one of the most popular luxurious hotels in the area, but it's far from that nowadays. Hotel features a large park from which you could access the beach with a elevator building which is now abandoned . Other buildings in the park (bakery, cafe, etc.) are also abandoned.

I would‘t give one star!! This is the ugliest hotel I‘ve ever been. Don‘t trust the pictures!!! We‘ve been there for ultra 2018 in July 2018 and that was the biggest mistake we‘ve ever did. The staff there was so unfriendly and exploiting. We booked an standard two bed room with festicket. Do not think that you have a good room with a sea view! You became a ugly room with a view on a parking lot! They told us to pay 16 kuna per day per person to became a better view and a better room. When we were checking out they suddenly wanted 32 kuna per person per day. They argued with us and said that it was our fould and we had to listen but we know that they said to us 16 kuna!!! We write it down before! Finally they said to us ok we can make 16 kuna, haha cheekiness! The aisle smelled of vomiting! The taxi drivers (uber drivers) who raised in split told us that this is the ugliest hotel of split. You look for a apartment! Don‘t expect that is a hotel it was a refugee station before. Compared with other hotels or apartments it was even much more expensive. Dont expect anything it was only a room with a nice tv and nice klima but thats it! It wasn‘t a vacation for us in this hotel! I am from austria and can say that: Liebe Ösis bucht das Hotel bitte nicht wenn ihr urlaub...

After less than an hour my friend and I checked out of the place. The booking.com description of the accommodation was so far from the truth that led us to prepay, it was unbelievable. ||||On check in we were told our towels would be changed every 3 days and 5 for sheets. Corridors felt unsafe and badly in need of renovation. Some were blocked by crime scene type tape. The lift needed replacing. Floor numbers had been written on next to the buttons, but as that had worn off a piece of papaer had been stuck to the wall. ||The beds in the room were unmade. Sheets and cover just left on the end of the bed. No bedside lights, tea/coffee making, telephone or safe in the room. Water view we paid for was non existent only a view was an old solar panel infrastructure. ||||We approached booking.com for a refund with no success. Now the only option on their site is pay at hotel. If that was available to us we wouldn’t have had to have gone to the expense of paying 5 nights in another hotel as well as being ripped off for paying for this place. I WILL NEVER USE BOOKING.COM AGAIN !!!!!||||Reviews on the company’s site give high ratings but the CON comments outweigh...

We spent seven nights at the Hotel Zagreb. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the popular Znjan Beach and can be reached by bus. From the outside, the hotel made a bad impression, because the balconies and the walls showed large signs of wear. The reception area and the entrance hall are large and imposing. There is also a bar and a non-smoking area as well as the dining area in the basement. In the past, the hotel also had an area where you could celebrate weddings and an area where you could do sports (e.g. table tennis). These areas are cordoned off and have not been used for a long time. Unfortunately, the hallways and the rooms are also very worn. In the hallway on the way to the room you can see the age of the hotel: dirty carpets and walls. Our room was clean, but the balcony was already quite broken. The breakfast was absolutely identical every day and consisted of fried eggs, sausages, bread and a few types of fruit. Overall, we didn't feel comfortable...
