Imperial Hotel — Hotel in Grad Vodice

This hotel has a good location. All other things are disastrous. *Rooms- are ancient and need renovation (or maybe demolishing?). The sewage under the shower was leaking, smell from the sewage, the bath door stayed in my hand while opening. There is a bar close by where normal concerts take place - until midnight no chance for sleeping. It's lounder than sleeping in a tent in a big music festival. The AC can't be operated from the room, but from the reception. Or it doesn't work at all. *Restaurant- there are queues at the entty at peak dinner time. The restaurant is configurated for much smaller amount of people. You will be queuing and bumping into each other here. It's slighlty disgraceful and not a nice experience. The food was between average and bad - loveless, tasteless and often salty as hell. There were no fruits at breakfast, no changes for breakfast for whole week. I ate sunny-side-up for whole week. We skipped multiple dinners and ate outside. *Service- honestly, the people do what they can. But there's no digitalisation- we took 15 mins to pay the parking at check out. Also there is not enough staff in the restaurant to clear the tables. My whole family- 4 members got a stomach virus here. I know it sounds all almost unreal- that's what I was thinking for myself ever day there and it was my worst vacation ever. I'm so traumatised from this experience that not only I won't ever come back to Vodice, I think I might even never come back to...

Very disappointed. First, we couldn't find any available parking spot even though we had reservation for our stay! The lounge chairs in the rooms were dirty, the toilet seat cover broke, the AC in 1 room were not working properly, the balcony door couldn't be locked! Another bad surprise - we had to pay for the lounge chairs by the pool as the hotel guests !!!!!! There was no AC at the hotel lobby / reception. The breakfast was not tasty, there were missing cups for juice (we had to use coffee mugs!). And until midnight the loud music was playing every night from a nearby disco beach club! One elevator wasn't working when we were leaving (very old elevators btw) and the walls/hallways/carpets in the hotel were so old, dated and dirty. The internet only worked by the main room door! The room was ok but not the best for the price. The rooms were poorly made with many cracks in the floor I couldnt even walk bare foot because I feared that I will get splinters. Another major complain that I have with the hotel was with the showers that leaked after use, after talking to some of my next door neightbors I found out that it wasnt an issue just in my room but in the entire hotel which is terrible for a hotel of any sorts. The hotel it self wasnt the only problem but the staff itself was poorly managed with many of them just sitting around not doing anything, I had a terrible experience with the head waiter that was extreamly rude and was awfully arrogant towards me and other guests, all though the experience with the waiter was unpleasent the city itself was the saving grace with its lively nightlife and beautiful views.
