Villa Palloma — Hotel in Općina Baška Voda

Disappointing room and overall stay.|Starting with the room, even though we chose a double bed, two single beds were provided.|One of the mattresses was in an extremely bad condition - there were two deep areas within the mattress due to wear and tear. Since my partner wasn't able to sleep on the first night because of the mattress, we tried to turn it around and we found multiple maroon stains that looked like period blood stains.|The bed headboard was all stained. There was a plug coming apart from the wall.|Just outside our room balcony there was a very noisy pump and even with closed windows we could hear it.||On the second day, when we arrived around 10pm, after a tiring and sweaty day, there was no hot water! The following morning, since there wasn't hot water again we decided to speak with the owner. Not even an apology was given! We were told that nobody else complained about it and it wouldn't happen only in our room. However, after our breakfast, he would come to our room with us and have a look. We were also hopping to speak about the mattress, however, he never came back to check our room. We later asked another staff member and found out that it was a general problem and again not even an apology. It was eventually fixed and we had hot water in the afternoon.||In regards to the car park, it seems like that it is shared with some local residents. Every single time we parked our car, we had someone approaching us and asking if we were guests.||We really wanted to cancel the last night however, unfortunately, we wouldn't get a refund and therefore we had to stay.|After contacting booking.com customer service, we received a refund of 36.80€, after we had checked out. We paid 357.70€ for 3 nights and it is definitely...

· The dirt was everywhere – the sofa in the living room was full of stains, the coffee table had steel lines and on both sides of the lines there was awful, old dirt like sticky mud, the wallpaper was unsticking from the walls, there was dust on the furniture. In the bedroom, in the upper corner there were also stains, maybe after the fight with fungi. In the bathroom, there was a hot tub, so there were many holes for bubbles, all covered with abounded amount of scale. On the terrace of the apartment intended for a whole family or a group of friends there was only one plastic deckchair. But, there were also four chairs and a table made of metal, all rusty. So, we could not use them to save our clothes from the rust.||The cleaning lady came to the apartment every day, without even asking if we wanted her. What was awful, she touched and folded our underwear. I think it was not necessary to make the beds. She could just fold the linen and correct the pillows. ||The hygine level was tragic. The waiters were constantly moving cars in their extremely tight car park, and then they were rushing to bring food, without washing hands.||They served bottle beer out of date.||Finally, they charged us with 700 HRK for their damaged arm-lock. The employee who showed us the apartment was in a hurry because he could not park his car in a narrow street for long. So, he opened the door, showed us the flat very quickly. However, we noticed that he hesitated opening the outside door to the terrace. He must remember this. The arm-lock must have been in a poor condition because it did not operate smoothly. When we tried to close the door at night because of strong wind, the arm-lock fell off and they blamed us...
