Bed and Breakfast RiB — Hotel in Općina Brela

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here in August 2018 whilst travelling around Croatia and it was the best place that we stayed in for so many reasons.||||Prior to the stay, Branko (son who runs the hotel) was so responsive with messages and queries we had. He directed us to the hotel very efficiently and handled our requests with care and used fantastic English, despite the fact they rarely host Brits. ||||When we arrived, our baggage was taken and we were shown to our room. Now, some may have found the decor somewhat garish - wooden clad walls, old dolls scattered around and some very vintage 70s Croatian chic decor were just some of the highlights. However, it was absolutely spotless and the decor grew on us the longer we stayed. We had a great balcony view and access to the bar downstairs which was very handy.||||Breakfast was lovely - everything was homemade and the fig jam was a particular delight. The family were so accommodating of what we wanted and the breakfast was enough to feed a small army. Branko even gave us recommendations for restaurants in Brela to help us feed our stomachs even further.||||A nice touch was Branko and his girlfriend offering to take us to the airport in Split for a small fee (cheaper than any taxi quote in the area). Just an amazing location! The RiB bed and breakfast is true to its name. Coming down in morning to fresh eggs, a spread of meats & cheese, homemade fig spread with fresh breads and coffee, just makes the start of your day wonderful! The room was always clean and the room fresh and cool. This is cigarette smell in hall but the rooms were not affected at all. Not a fan of smoke at all! So not having the smell is my room was a bonus. I am a non smoker!

The owners are all wonderful with an amazing hospitality that made our long stay wonderful.

It was just relaxing to come back to the room at the end of the day to hang out on the balcony, play card or just sit back and enjoy the view.

Being conveniently located by the marina, where you are just a walk away from all the restaurants. They are all fresh and fantastic!! Even the “Fast Food” stand has cold beer and good snacks! You can’t go wrong with any of them.

Also convenient is are small grocery stores to grab extras for the beach, cold beers, wine or just this and that’s. Fresh fruit stands are also along the walkway for fresh slices of watermelon, Cherrys, strawberries or whatever fruit is In season.

Better than any stuffy hotel this is the best way to go!! Enjoy your stay if you decide to stay and relax without all the crazy.

Very friendly, very homelike. Branko, the owner is, very helpful and very kind, we had the opportunity to meet his mom who helped him with the service. After arrival we were helped with bags and with parking. Do not hasitate to give Branko your carkeys, he knows his bussiness and knows his corners :) At the arrival we were throroughly advised about the whereabouts, restaurants, beaches and shops. Although the furniture may look retro, rooms were allways clean, smelled well, our bed linen were changed regurarly and it really feels homelike. The beach is within two minutes walk, the elevator makes it even more easy to frequently visit any parts of brela. Breakfasts were very tastefull and you can choose the way your eggs are served.
