Haus am Meer — Hotel in Općina Brela

Stayed with my partner on a relaxed beach holiday. We arrived at 1am as our flight was delayed. Hotel is self catering and we were due to buy some shopping on our drive from airport to hotel. But as it was late everything was closed. Our host Nediljka gave us drink and made sandwiches as she could see we were tired and hungry. Even though she was due to be up at 6am, she did not rush us and made time to speak to us about the hotel and nice places to go to eat during our stay. Everyone is located a fridge and cupboards of their own to use. Full equipped communal kitchen is big and lots of tables to sit at outside and enjoy a bite to eat. We had a room with a sea view. I shall not forget the bright blue sea while sitting on our balcony having a drink. Room cleaned regularly and we had air conditioning. Board walk to brela Central is just outside and lots of places to stop and eat at or beach coves to nip down to for swimming. I spent a few wonderful days at Haus Zelic with my girlfriends. The location of the house is supreme - each morning I would take just a few steps to take a swim and then go for breakfast and coffee at one of the terraces with a perfect view of the islands! Best waking up ritual ever! The owners are great - they were really kind and helpful in giving us tips on where to go to explore the surroundings or just go out. We stayed with Tony and Marina as part of a yoga holiday and it was a great experience. We were lucky enough to get the ground floor apartment, literally 3 steps from the beautiful Adriatic sea. Double room, shower room and kitchen/dining/sitting room. Breakfast was included in our stay,with Marina's gorgeous home made juices being a highlight.
