Mobile Homes Krk Silo — Hotel in Općina Dobrinj

This is a place you should visit! There are no words that could describe how amazing this place is! The camping area is clean, quite, and peacefull. We chose MH 4+1 - Luxury sea view, and we got a beautiful mobile home in the first row, with seaview. The mobile home has a huge terrace with chairs, table. A living room has a table and a sofa, with satellite tv, and a kitchen with fridge, electric kettle, coffee making machine, electric hot plate, dish washing machine, microwave, cutlery, etc. There are two bathrooms, and two bedrooms. The beds are comfortable, with comfy pillows. There are no mosquito nets on the windows but there was no mosquito at all, so not a problem. You can reach the beach in 2 minutes from the house. We could park our car right beside the house, but there are a lots of parking places, as well. As we were there pre season the beach bar was not open. It was not a problem at all. Silo itself and this camping is a place to relax, to slow down and to enjoy the sea. Nearby there is a tennis court, there are places you can run, you can hire a boat, there are several restaurant, diving club, etc. You can choose several activities as well, if you prefer. The check in and check out goes fast, everybody is kind. In the high season it is not cheap, therefore if you cannot afford it (like us) you can go there and enjoy it before and after the high season. Maybe you cannot swimm in the sea but you can enjoy the sun and relax. I recommend this place!...

we were asked to pay the whole amount at the right moment we stepped into the reception. we paid already 1/3 at the reservation time. i think one should be let in and see the property he is paying for a very high price before being asked to pay the whole amount! we did say this to the reception and when we left the property but still, no expression of sympathy, no even a proposal for discount.

Chairs in the mobile home are quite old. some of them damaged.

bathroom had a leaking shower. we mentioned this to the property but they didn't do anything.

and, ah yeah, they kept my ID till i didn't pay the full amount like hostage.

with a crazy price like this for a week, and what you get, definitively i will not go there anymore. i personally think that Croatia is digging its own tomb with this services and prices for tourist. the price/quality ratio is increasing too much.

ps. surroundings in Krk are average. it seems there is a strong local opinion that few ancient rocks and a cave 150m long could be sufficient to call for a tourist attraction, and ask money for it, but for me is a "poor man " solution to attract tourist, giving no content and still...

Vorweg sei gesagt, dass wir nur geblieben sind, weil wir das riesengrosse Glück hatten, zufällig einen der wenigen WoMoplätze direkt am Wasser zu bekommen! Das war für die Hunde natürlich super und für uns auch.

Zuerst mal das Positive: Das Wasser ist wirklich ein Traum Günstig zwei Waschhäuser mit WC, Duschen usw 15 Gehminuten in den Ort, dort gibt es einen kleinen Hafen, SouvenirShops, Supermarkt (Achtung, nur bis 14:00), Gemüsehändler, Bäckerei, mehreren Restaurants, Apotheke, Post, Friseur, Eisdiele usw. Fußballplatz für Kinder Ver- und Entsorgung hundefreundlich Supermarkt und Kiosk auf dem Gelände Wassersport mit Tretboot- und Jetskiverleih etc.

Jetzt leider die Minusliste, und die ist lang... Vorab: Nicht von der Website blenden lassen, nichts davon entspricht der Realität!!! Es gibt keinerlei Schatten. Nur in den Parzellen, und die sind an Dauercamper vergeben. Der Platz ist irre laut, bis morgens um 4:00 dröhnt Discomusik heran und da es keine Ruhezeiten gibt ist es einfach immer, immer Krach überall. An Schlaf ist kaum zu denken. Der Strand selbst ist völlig überfüllt. Außerdem ist der Schotterplatz weder schön noch sauber leider, die Müllcontainer sind immer voll. Das Gelände wird kein bisschen gepflegt. Die Waschhäuser werden zwar gereinigt, sind aber veraltet. Es nisten überall Schwalben - süß, aber sehr ekelhaft da alles vollgekotet...Die Duschen funktionieren nur zum Teil, und die junge Partygeneration wütet dort übel (es liegen blutige Tampons auf der Erde und den Ablagen etc). Die Aussenduschen sind nett gedacht, aber auf einer Anhöhe ohne Sichtschutz. Das heißt, man steht nackt auf dem Präsentierteller für den ganzen Platz. Wir hatten einige Male für 1-2 Std Stromausfall im ganzen Camp (bei 38 Grad waren die gekühlten Lebensmittel dahin), was kein Wunder war bei 5,6 Steckern pro Dose an den Säulen. Die Stromsäulen haben alle einen Wasseranschluss. Lebensgefahr!!! Die Kabel liegen alle in den Pfützen... Es gibt einen Tennisplatz, der aber nicht genutzt werden kann weil einfach Wohnmobile darauf parken, was niemanden zu stören scheint.

Fazit: Ich würde nicht...
