Maistra Select Funtana All Inclusive Resort — Hotel in Općina Funtana

We visited as a family of five in Aug 2023 for a week. Initial impressions were great, a bag meal on arrival having missed dinner due to our flight. Day one, woke up early, lovely view from our apartment and great weather, food was ok and lots of choices for breakfast. We ate at the pool bar first day which was nice to snack on. The hotel also provides Pizza at 5pm. The three teenagers enjoyed the water sports provided, however I was a little concerned not life jackets were provided. A duo played a nice set in the evening for entertainment. The next three days we had terrible weather, this made us start to look us look at the facilities in the hotel. Although refurbished, the rooms are small, three persons in deluxe room consists of a small camp bed was not ideal. Rooms were cleaned daily, however we were left without loo roll on two days. The lighting in the corridor is not safe, having activated after you walked down the stairs from the second floor. The most shocking thing is the smell from the communal toilets, which clearly haven’t been cleaned in weeks, also walking passed the gents my wife could see men doing a number one which was unpleasant. Massive lack of evening entertainment during the rest of the week, mediocre food, lack of atmosphere and a struggle to find anything to do. The pool table is awful and needs replacing, did not work. Mini club staff were sat on their phones paying no intention to anything. The all inclusive beer an d wine is poor quality and only local top shelf is served after 9pm. The lack of being able to pay for premium drinks on card was also disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Croatia unless you want to go...

Been traveling with husband and a child, we spend 8 nights there. The resort is wonderful and all of the staff was very helpful and pleasant. All inclusive includes very good 3 meal buffet with excellent salad bar and they have drinks (soft drinks, 🍺 and wine), snacks and ice cream through the day. The sport center is really good equipped (pedal boat, kayak, table tennis, mini golf, volleyball, bikes) and you can choose all those activities which are in your price. If you’d like to bike ride, rather use the main road instead of riding alongside beach since those paths are not good for biking (either have stairs or are quite narrow and crowded with people). The only little thing, rooms don’t have a view on the sea unless you are on the terrace. But this did not bother us since we spend most of the day on the near beach, in the shade of pine trees on the chairs that are also included. Beach was 2 min walk away from the room. Big thank you to the animation team which made big efforts in keeping us and other guests entertained every single night. Because of them, we did not have the need to explore entertainment outside...

This is located right next to the sea with lovely views. The accommodation is built on the side of a hill so there is a lot of walking up and down steps to get to the restaurant, reception and beach. ||||Our room was fine but it overlooked an access road and was right next to an extractor fan from the kitchen. It did not matter too much because our balcony was really too small to sit out on, ||The staff were generally very welcoming and helpful. ||The all inclusive included the use of pedaloes, kayaks, bikes, tennis and table tennis which was very good. The pool area had a good amount of sun beds and the temperature of the pool was fine. They tended to have music playing all day which on occasions was too loud and did not enhance the sun bathing experience but the aqua activities every morning were fun.||||The beach was typical for this region. Rocky and sometimes quite difficult to negotiate. The water was clean and a nice temperature.||||The food again was very typical for this kind of hotel.
