Marojica Apartments Cavtat — Hotel in Općina Konavle

The best stay again! :) Absolutely beautiful room with lovely balcony and the best views over the ocean and mountains. Room was very clean and spacious and the bed is large and very comfortable. Great air con, huge bathroom and all the amenities you need such as microwave, cooker, fridge, TV etc. The hosts Maro and Nikol and the whole family are amazing, so warm and welcoming and always there to help with anything you need. You can get drinks from the bar here which are great prices compared to the town centre and fresh ingredients like the lemons and mint they grow themselves in the garden. You can also have breakfast and dinner here in the beautiful garden setting and the food is outstanding, all homemade fresh local ingredients (from the garden again) and the family are so knowledgeable and passionate about it and will tell you anything you want to know. Both breakfast and dinner are amazing value for money for what you get and I would highly recommend. The pool area is beautiful and it’s so peaceful to lay here surrounded by the gardens. The apartments are located a short distance away from the town centre , only 10 minutes walk downhill and about 20 mins walk back uphill, this is never a compromise for me as it’s worth it to get the views when you’re at the top! I’ve stayed here 3 times now and each time I come back it gets more beautiful with something new in the garden or a new area they have made. Can’t wait to...

It’s hard to know where to start when writing a review of Marojica Apartments….it is simply unique. Yes, the apartment is beautifully presented, modern, spotlessly clean, bright and with a mesmerising and constantly changing view. And yes, the pool and garden area is an oasis of calm and tranquility…..but the truly outstanding beauty of this apartment lies in the warmth and hospitality of the people who run it… Maro, Nicole, Mladin and Maro’s Mum (sorry I never got to know your name!) We were made truly welcome and by the end of our holiday we felt that we had made friends. We were lucky to have tasted Mladin’s outstanding fish & meat dinners cooked in a traditional outdoor Croatian Konoba and served by the ever engaging and witty Maro. These meals were by far the most enjoyable of our trip. We left Cavtat, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated and happy to feel that we had had experienced the real warmth and culture of the lovely people of Croatia. Thank you Maro, Nicole, Mladin...

This is a wonderful little place run by a young couple, Maro and Nicole, who are excellent at what they do. Our flight from Dubrovnik was delayed and we stayed a couple of extra nights here to be closer to the airport. What a great surprise! We enjoyed ourselves better than in Old Town Dubrovnik. The views of the cliffs and ocean near Cavtat were breathtaking, the apartment was fully equipped with a kitchen and extremely clean, and the patio area with the pool and the kitchen was the most relaxing we felt after busy Dubrovnik. Maro and his father made us a delicious traditional dinner with ingredients grown there, needless to say, it was superb: the local swordfish on the grill was memorable. It was a perfect Mediterranean summer experience. We would come back here...
