Hotel VILA ROVA — Hotel in Općina Malinska-Dubašnica

We left our last destination (Plitvice NP) because of rain & inability to hike the trails but also because we only had one night booked at Vila Rova & it seemed like a place to be longer. Best decision!! We are two.friends so the suite was perfect to each have our own space after two weeks together. Our wonderful impression started when we calles from Plitvice. Danica (probably spelled wrong but pronounce Danitza) one of the owners, answered like she already knew us & said she would try to give us the suite also the extra night which she did. When we drove in she greeted us outside....warm & welcoming. The hotel is beautiful with attention to detail & ALL staff is eager to satisfy your every desire. The buffet breakfast is extensive (even lox & cream cheese), the dinners are wonderful with an imaginative menu with choice of fixed menu or a la carte. Our waiter, Elvis served us with such efficiency & elegance, especially for such a young man. This small hotel of 20 rooms is on the edge of the sea with a beautiful pool & long promenade to walk many kilometers along the sea. My morning coffee in the room is so important to me so the first day I ordered 2 lattes. Last night I asked Danitca what I should order to get a big mug of coffee. She told me to call her instead of the restaurant which I did and she personally delivered it along with bonus croissants. You will be delighted with your stay here....I feel so special. Cleanliness: 5/5 The overall cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Every corner was spotless, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay.

Food: 5/5 Wow. The dining experience was outstanding. The menu was diverse, beautifully presented, and highlighted local ingredients. Every dish was not just good, but insanely good, showcasing a real commitment to quality. And everything is available also gluten free 👍

Room Size: 4/5 While the rooms were a bit on the small side, they were well-appointed and comfortable, making the space functional despite the size. But on the other side, you don't stay the whole day in the room, so it is not my top priority.

Location: 5/5 The hotel’s location right on the seaside is perfect. The views and access to the beach were a major highlight of my stay.

We stayed here 7 nights in September 2025 in a Suite for 2 people with balcony and sea view at the top (3rd) floor (room 47). The hotel is run by a family and has 23 rooms. The hotel is located at the seaside and also has a swimming pool and spa. In front of the hotel there are parking places for guests. |The suite is spacious with nice balcony and excellent view.
