Guest House Busurelo — Hotel in Općina Mljet

Stayed here in a 3 bed room with 2 of my friends. We came from the ferry, the house is located at the end of the road about a 10 minute walk not far at all! When arriving at the house we struggled to find anyone which worked there. It would have been helpful to know the owners live at the top of the house and where to go when you arrive. The room was OK equipped wiht a fridge and kettle outside, the room had a fan but no air con. Was quite spacious, and received towels and sheets if needed. The decor was quite bad, did not match at all, and the pink bathroom may just haunt me forever. The wifi only worked for 1 of us, the other 2 just would not connect at all, we also had our neighbours asking how to connect too! So looked like it was a problem across quite a few of the rooms! Over all though our stay was ok, good...

We had a studio with spacious terrace on the ground floor, and it was great. The kitchen is okay, small, a bit camp style but with all the needed equipment. The room is overlooking the bay, and the sea water is great for a swim. I picked some fresh mussels directly from the sea, got them cooked, tossed with spaghetti, and we had a dinner on the terrace.. perfect place in hippie style. The place definitely needs mosquito and wasp repellant, as these insects can be quite annoying.. the house is a 5 minute walk to the city, and from there you can rent the bikes/catch the van to the lakes (national park landmark and central location). It's a shame these ground terraces dont feature a barbique, because preparing fresh fish would be a hit, and cheaper than...

Very comfortable room with a fantastic view to the sea. The room is also equipped with a mini frigo and a kettle so , you can prepare your breakfast and enjoy it in the terrace facing the sea. The owner is very very kind and she even helped us to find another appartment when we decided to stay longer in Polace.(The guesthouse was full during the dates we wanted to stay, otherwise we would have remained at this great place).
