Villa Four Brothers — Hotel in Općina Podstrana

I stayed at the 4 bedroom apartment in June 2022.

We had a wonderful stay and I would struggle to find any fault with anything to do with my stay. We want to return as soon as we can.

The villa is stunning, nicely decorated, well appointed. It’s located right on the beach. Perhaps it will be busier later in the summer but when we visited we had the whole beach to ourselves every day which was amazing. The location was within 3 mins walk of a grocery shop and there are many nice beach restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk, all with a stunning sunset every evening. Half way through our stay, a beach bar hut opened within 30 seconds walk away and they made us cracking mojitos every afternoon. We liked that this spot is not too near the centre of podstrana, you can walk there, but those hotels slightly closer were a little busier. We enjoyed lazing on the beach most days but an uber to split was also very cheap and under £10GBP.

The equipment in the house all worked perfectly, and they even have an ice maker. Every bedroom has it’s own bathroom which meant for a very nice stay. You get the feeling that everything has been considered in the building design, all the appliances worked well, including the washing machine and free WIFI. All bedrooms, rooms and hallways have air conditioning which is very quiet and effective. I had a dreadful cough, but no one heard as the rooms were very soundproof. There is a lovely garden to sit out on overlooking the sea which has beautiful trees, plants and jasmine.

We booked directly and had many issues with our dates due to covid travel restrictions. Throughout the 2 years between 2020 and when we actually visited in 2022, the owner was excellent to deal with, fair and quick to respond. He was kind enough to show us round on our first day and popped back the following morning to bring a few more items we had requested. The house was absolutely spotless too. We spent a week in the Penthouse apartment and everything was just perfect. It is very nice, clean and modern. It looks like on the pictures. Enough space for all the 6 of us, very well equipped kitchen, even an ice maker machine in it. There are also tools for cleaning. (Vacuum cleaner, mop, etc). Air condition in every room. A big terrace with a beautiful view to the sea, was really nice to have our meal out there. The beach was clean, saw one day the host cleaned it himself early in the morning. Sunbeds and parasols are available without extra cost. There are 2 restaurants, cocktail bar and an ice cream stand on the beach line nearby. Small market in a walking distance. It's a beautiful place to visit, the owner is really helpful. As you exit the gate from behind, you only need to go as far as 5 meters, and you are on a gorgeous beach.
