Eco-friendly Estate — Hotel in Općina Primošten

We booked the apartment for 5 people for 14 nights, from 31.7. till 14.8.2023. Price for the apartment was quite high (185 €/night) but on photos it looked quite nice so we were looking forward to the stay.

Let's cover the pros first: good location, nice pool in front of the house, parking straight away, two bathrooms in the apartment and in general it was furnished okey.

But... And this is a big but, it was way too small for family of 5 people with kids. Althought it had two sleeping rooms with two bathrooms it basically didn't have anything else. The apartment had like only 30m2 or less and kitchen was totally unfunctional for family with kids. We needed to take shifts for eating since all 5 of us couldn't sit at the table at the same time. Not just that, there were also not enough plates or spoons for all of us. So some of us have eaten, than we washed our plates so that others can eat too. There was also no place to dry the dishes after hand washing, fridge was super small and there was no place to store the groceries that are not going to the fridge. Besides that, in whole apartment there was only one super small closet so most of the clothes was on the floor, so my kids when they were playing and wanted to go from one side of the room to another needed to walk over suitcases. Also in bathroom there was no place to hang wet towels. Three more things, wifi was not working for most of the time and quite often there was a bad smell in a apartment (but that can be because most of those small towns on Croatian cost expanded quite quickly in short period of time but infrastructure like sewage was not able to keep up, hence the bad smell). And the owner said it has a dishwasher but that was not the case.

We of course complained to the owners about the apartment but they tried to blame us, like why we didn't ask how many m2 apartment has (although we clearly mentioned it is for a family of 5 with kids so we kind of expected that it will be bigger than what we got).

All in all, it is not that bad apartment, if it was for two younger couples without kids that will eat outside and not use the kitchen than the grade would be higher (4 out of 5 I would say) but for family of 5 with kids it was totally unsuitable and we...

Nice place with kind owners, clean cozy rooms with nice decorations and the whole place is realy pretty. Parking lot and a pool right by the building. For me a super plus is that we could stay here also with our dog. The peninsula with the city centre is super close by walking. Also a food market and restaurants are close by walking. An hour by walking is the beautiful lady of Loretto statue, which you need to visit also because of the beautiful views on the sea and the Primošten city and all the nearby island...

We loved our apartment host Rube and his family. They were extremely friendly and helpful and gave us brilliant recommendations for what to do in the area and which restaurants to go to. They sorted us out with taxis, bikes and umbrellas when a huge storm hit! Truly the perfect hosts in a fabulous apartment! The location is perfect and the spacious and modern apartment is ideal for relaxing after a long hard day at the beach. The hosts made our trip to this beautiful town extra special and we can't wait...
