Pros:|| • Immaculate and beautiful home.|| • For $44.5/night, we stayed in a private room w/ private bathroom and shared kitchen. The house is so clean it looks brand new. || • Although his English is a little broken, the owner Milan (and his adorable black pet dog) are so warm and friendly. We got lost trying to find his guesthouse upon arrival that he picked us up with his car and also dropped us off at a pickup spot the next day for the park. || • Fast WiFi|| • ~7-10 minute drive to entrance 1 of Plitvice Lake National Park. ||||Tips:|| • This house is best for travelers with their own car. Because my bf and I travelled w/o a private car, transportation to park entrance and restaurants was a little difficult. ||Easiest commute to park is to walk 5-10 minutes to Bear Hotel (out and to the right) and there is a small shuttle (25 kuna per person roundtrip) which picks people up @ 8:30AM and departs park @ 4:30PM daily. If you arrive to pickup pt too late, he will not wait for you. ||If you walk 5-10 min across the street to Korana Campsite, there is also a free park shuttle which picks up @ 9AM and departs at from entrance 1 @ 5PM daily. ||Closest restaurant is 15-20 min walk to Restoran Degenija (awesome food,...

We were a group of 10 adults. We booked the entire home and we opted for self catering. Very private and away from hustle and bustle. Very clean, spacious rooms and everything that you would use at your own house was available here. The host, Milan was friendly, accommodating and he made us fires in the outside braai area where we had a barbecue "braaivleis". We rented cars and we visited the Plitvice Lakes National park which was a 10 minute easy drive away. We took a backroad country walk to the Dreznick Old Town to look at the Historical buildings and then went to have coffee and visited the shops. We also visited the Barac Bat Caves - historic caverns with stalactites where Marko enlightened us about the history. Great little find. Guesthouse where you have a bedroom and ensuite and a share lounge room and kitchen. It was a lovely little spot a short drive from Plivice Lakes. We cooked ourselves and found it easy with a couple of stores not far down the road. They also had a BBQ which we also used. It was lovely to stay somewhere where you met other people.
