Villa Antunovic — Hotel in Općina Trpanj

Firstly, we wish to say that we had a really nice time in this hotel. Rooms are cozy and clean; small but functional. Beds are comfortable and you will sleep quite, for sure. Rooms are air-conditioned and have a little fridge and a small balcony for a morning coffee. Also, there is a parking place in the front of the hotel. From the balcony, you can see one part of the beach and sea which is just around 70 m away. ||We like to underline that we were surprised with awesome food for dinner. Every night there were a two meal to choice and one of them usually is a sort of fish or squids, which was really tasty. Desert is also a nice treat after dinner. With dinner, you can ask for a local wine which is actually quite tasty and goes nicely with assorted seafood. During our stay, we decided to accept an invitation for the one-day picnic trip to small fisherman's village near Trpanj called Duba. That was also one nice experience because Duba is an untouched beauty with crystal clear water and nice clean beach. We were traveling there with a motor yacht where we had a nice fish dish dinner and different assorted wines. This small picnic trip was one wise decision spiced with a nice coast view and good wine. Rooms are clean and serve a basic purpose. Not all of the rooms are the same size. Some are with a tiny bathroom, but the owners were willing to let us switch rooms (I viewed all vacant rooms and picked the largest one). Property is on a quiet street, but still 2minutes to the beach. Their breakfast is poor/average, but the dinner they serve is excellent. Menu varies for the entire week and you have a choice of 2 dishes. Everything was delicious and the owners are allways offering more to make sure each guest is satisfied and full. There were 3 of us and we went 2 times; I am sure that we will be back. Perhaps next time we will ask for 2 rooms, prices are per person, not per room anyway. To wrap up, my main issue is with small rooms, but this is a problem in most of small towns in Croatia. The biggest plus- dinner and location. Town of Trpanj is wonderful for families. Very peaceful town, great people and excellent owners. Rooms are small but you have everything you need and very clean. Food is perfect, it is all homemade and you can chose between fish or meat every night. In Trpanj you can drink the best croatian wine sorts. Villa Antunovic is near the beach.
