Villa Charlotta — Hotel in Općina Višnjan

We stayed one week in December with a group of 15 people (6 kids, 9 adults) and 2,5 (one small) dogs at Villa Charlotta in the cute village Radovani. In fact the villa consists of three houses: the main, big one; a middle one and a small one. All three houses have an own kitchen. So everybody has space and privacy when needed. The main house has a big dining room and a big kitchen. Perfect for so many people. The main house has beautiful two living rooms in the 1st floor. One of the living rooms has a wonderful fireplace. We loved to sit there and enjoy an aperitif before dinner. In the second, big living room stayed the kids often and played and two of them even slept there. All rooms are beautiful. Villa Charlotta was everything we hoped it would be, and more! This beautiful property gave us the unique opportunity to socialize with our group of 10, but also the space for quiet relaxation and privacy. We spent most of our hours in the spacious outdoor living room. One highlight was experiencing a nighttime thunderstorm, while we played cards, drank Istrian wine, and enjoyed a wood fire under the covered patio space while the warm rain fell around us. The pool was spotless and separate from the living quarters, which created it's own private retreat. Our host Leopold was very friendly and responsive to all of our needs. The location in the peaceful hamlet of Radovani was the perfect launch point for all of our excursions on the Istrian peninsula. We are already looking forward...

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 9 Erwachsenen und 8 Kindern. Mit eigenen Reisebettchen war ausreichend Platz in den Häusern. Pros: Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön bepflanzt. Großer, sauberer Pool mit regelmäßigem Poolservice. Eine Putzfrau steht täglich zur Verfügung und agiert nach Absprache. Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer ist schnell und unkompliziert. 5 Autos hatten auf dem Anwesen Platz. Klimaanlage war sehr leise und Gold wert. Verdunklung durch Fensterläden war sehr gut. Hauptküche recht gut ausgestattet. Contras: Böden in den Häusern waren voller Schottersteine aus der Einfahrt, in den Bädern die Ablaufrinnen verstopft und verschimmelt, Insekten überall im Haus. Daher waren wir mit der Reinigung nicht zufrieden. Wenig Handtücher (1Großes und 1Kleines pro Person). Kaum Ablageflächen in den Bädern. Toilettenspühlung im Poolhaus defekt, ständiger Abwassergeruch. Sofa im Nebenhaus defekt und nur teilweise nutzbar. Esszimmerstühle defekt, Schrauben fehlen. Nachttischlampen nicht nutzbar da entweder Birne defekt oder fiel fast von der Wand. Betten teils durchgelegen, dass mehrere Leute Rückenschmerzen bekamen. Keine Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern, daher kamen sofort Insekten ins Haus beim Lüften. Küchen in den Nebenhäusern nur sperrlich...
