This place is very special and it was a shame we only spent one night there. The whole place has been lovingly renovated from a ruined building to a beautiful bed and breakfast place by Angelica and her husband. We stayed in the smallest room on the ground floor and it was tastefully furnished, extremely clean and with lots of nice touches. Communication Was fantastic before our arrival and though We arrived very late at night, we found a warm welcome with the little bar being open, a few customers enjoying and drink and lots of hospitality from the family. It was such a nice treat after a long day of travel. Breakfast was good and Angelica was flexible and friendly, offering us whatever we wanted. She talked to us about the interesting history of the village which is the only Greek village in North Cyprus. The only shame was the power in the village went off over the whole night meaning the air conditioning didn’t work and our room was very hot. This was not the fault of the owner and they did everything to make it better, providing fans and lights for us. We feel sure that anyone staying here will be looked after really well and that the other rooms are probably even better than ours with good views and more space. This place is really loved and when you stay you are cared...
Read moreWe had a truly unique and very special stay at Hanna Koumi Boutique Hotel. Everything was superb from the very warm, kind welcome we received from Angelina and her daughter, who could not do enough for us and our two year old son. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated, you can feel the passion for the restoration project, with the love and attention to detail in every room. We felt so well taken care of at all times, the dinner was sooo delicious food and my son had his own special menu which he loved! The location of the hotel is very historical and very interesting to learn about the Maronites culture and traditions. We will most certainly be returning as one night was not enough time and we would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a very special experience. A big thank you...
Read moreThis hotel is a real delight. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are excellent, with stylish decor, comfy beds, and effective air conditioning. The mezze dinner was among the best I've had in a year in Cyprus with locally made halloumi and anari, and the same can be said for breakfast.
The hotel is in the pretty village of Korucam which is slightly off the beaten trail. There are some small quiet beaches nearby and the peninsular is worth exploring for the coastline alone; Kyrenia is an easy drive away.
This hotel is a gem and I'm glad I found it. The hosts really couldn't do enough for us and are a wealth of local knowledge. They were extremely hospitable and have a...
