Our recent stay at E Hotel Larnaca was, unfortunately, one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The property is in desperate need of refurbishment and fails to live up to the standards advertised online.||Facilities & Amenities:|The amenities listed on the website are completely misleading. The gym was entirely out of order, with no functioning equipment and no air conditioning, making it unbearable to use. The spa simply doesn’t exist, and the poor beautician offering treatments had to work in extreme heat.||Room Conditions:|Our bed was broken, one leg had fallen off and was propped up with wooden blocks, leaving us sleeping at a severe angle. The balcony was unsafe, hanging off the frame, and the toilet ran continuously for two weeks straight. For a hotel claiming to be “eco-friendly,” the constant water waste was shocking.||Fresh towels were damp when delivered, and even simple amenities like the coffee machine were broken. The remote control was covered in sticky old tape, and it took two days for a replacement to arrive.||Breakfast & Dining:|Breakfast was chaotic and poorly managed. There was only a tiny two-slot toaster for the entire hotel, leading to long queues every morning. If you came down late, much of the food was already gone. There were no croissants or chocolate spread for children, leaving the kids disappointed and unwilling to attend breakfast. We constantly had to ask for clean plates and cups, and the overall organisation was terrible.||General Maintenance & Cleanliness:|The car park was always full, mainly with local residents, leaving little room for hotel guests. The swimming pool water was dark and overly chlorinated, and the sun loungers were dirty. The left-hand side of the pool area was infested with red ants that bit us repeatedly.||The worst incident was finding faeces smeared along the carpeted corridor one evening. When we reported it, reception said it would have to wait until morning for ccleaning, completely unacceptable hygiene and service standards.||Summary:|E Hotel Larnaca markets itself as an eco-friendly, comfortable retreat, but in reality, it’s poorly maintained, unhygienic, and misrepresented online. Between the broken amenities, lack of cleanliness, and unprofessional management, we left extremely disappointed and will not...
Read moreThe view from this hotel is unreal, on the sky bar you get an overview of the whole city and can see the most amazing sunsets. The pool area is lovely and they have plenty of sunloungers - the cocktails are amazing and so cheap only €5.50! You can have them by the pool which is lovely.
The rooms are decent, they aren’t amazing but they are clean and have everything you need, the rooms even have UK plugs! , I would definitely recommend getting a sea view as then you can see the sunset over the sea and mountains.
The food is always very nice and filling, it is usually a buffet but at lunch/If you want a snack they have a small menu you can order from and all the food on there is also always very nice.
The hotel staff are lovely and always friendly and super helpful. Elena who works at the bar/waitresses is very kind and helpful. Vicky who works at reception is lovely and always smiling :) they are all very sweet and there’s lots of friendly cats here that they feed and look after so it’s really nice you can go outside and pet the cats. Yiannis makes the hotel!! I would definitely come back just for his hospitality! If it wasn’t for yiannis this hotel wouldn’t be nearly as good or efficient. We are two young girls and he looked after us all week and made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we got taxis safely as we didn’t know the area and they often didn’t speak good English. He can speak over 5 languages! If you come to this hotel definitely go to the bar and see him he will make your whole holiday 🥰
There isn’t too much around the area but there is a lovely restaurant that I have pictured, the food and drinks are amazing and very cheap, the ambience is lovely and the bar man is very friendly and helpful! If you go in the day you have a lovely view of the sea and at night it’s all light up. Faros beach is beautiful and the sea is lovely there is also coconut beach which has a beach bar and free wifi! There is also a very good little supermarket that Vicky will be able to show you, it has everything you need and...
Read moreThe eHotel in Pervolia promises so much with it's contemporary design and water features but in reality delivers very little. We popped in to book spa treatments on Wednesday afternoon and we were met by the General Manager who did not seem to have a clue what the procedure was for booking treatments or indeed any other process at the reception, he promised us a call on the Thursday to confirm the booking, which we never recieved. My wife and I along with a friend went for a Swedish full body massage, both of my co travellers received a full body massage, but for some reason I did not.....whilst we were there we had a nosey at the sky lounge and the views were spectacular along with the broken glass and litter that remained from a previous gathering. We returned later that evening for dinner where the main meals looked heavy and over complicated so we opted for the buffet, based on what a member of staff had told us was on offer. We were met by a very limited choice of luke warm, dry food which left the three of us with a rather underwhelming sense of dissatisfaction. On to dessert and there were two of three options out and when it was restocked it was done so with frozen desserts not thawed out. The waiting staff were abysmal at best, one chap came to clear the table and could only manage half the plates, but then never returned for the other half??? He walked right by our table several times looking into the bar!!! When we asked for the cheque none of the waiting staff knew how to deal with this request, they kept asking for our room number which we told them straight from the off that we were not staying at the hotel. A spectacular hotel which misses the mark of luxury and elegance due to the staff mainly. Svetlana in the spa was very good and credit where credit is due, she looked after my wife very well indeed. I was bitterly disappointed with my entire experience...
