Romantic hotel Mlyn Karlstejn — Hotel in okres Beroun

I visited restaurant and it was simply disaster. First of all waitress completely uninterested to seat us and annoyed that we even bothered her with our presence. It was four of us but only two small tables were available. However other tables in drink section were completely empty. But she refused to seat us and simply left. We waited couple minutes then she got back without any intention to try to seat us outside. We had to suggest to her that it would be ok to move two chairs to that small table, which then we had to take from other empty table. Then two of us ordered fish and potatoes and after some time we got two full meals and two plates of potatoes. Fish didn't come though. So after another 5 minutes we asked about the fish and the response from the waitress was that she didn't take the order but it is being prepared. Then after abother 10 mins we asked about the fish as it still didn't come. It took 20 mins to get the fish after we received all other meals and side dishes. I was simply ashamed to have brought my fds over there. Food was mediocre at best, prices high and service terrible. There were 6 more guests and 4 waitresses and they still managed to be lousy and annoyed. After this experience I will definitely not...

I was back in Prague and what a surprise and treat that my friends invited me for their corporate party to one of my favorite places close to Prague! The drive from Prague through the bohemian villages is beautiful and you get to really experience the country side. It’s about 30 min from the city. You arrive to this beautiful place on a road which passes a small zoo! Great for kids for a day trip too. It was not a big event but the setting is truly amazing on the banks of the river overlooking hills and greenery . They was a delicious barbecue from czech food to shrimp and even they were roasting a piglet! Yummy!||If you have time you can even take a hot balloon over the countryside and Karlstejn castle .||The staff was very attentive and the chef’s creations were master pieces! Highly recommend for a day trip, weekend, weddings, corporate party or weekend retreat! Thank you once more for this thrilling...

I can't remember any other restaurant I've visited in last couple of years, which would have poorer guest service than this particular one! Really annoying and so much frustrating! The place is wonderful here - I mean beautiful building, cosy rooms and gorgeous atmosphere at the river bank, but the staff at the restaurant simply from another planet. We're family of four, daughters 2&5 yo, and we had to wait full hour before they served us the dinner. Even the soup came the very same moment as the rest. And quality of the food? Well, don't expect any gourmet dishes, but rather very ordinary stuff, cold soup, cheap toast bread and boring vegetable salad.
