Imagine a place that makes you feeling beyond all right and then imagine a place which allows you to enjoy such feelings from when waking up into a new day to the time of going to bed.||The Jeseníky mountains are quite a paradise for those who like riding bikes through country and, of course, in mountains. Seemingly sparsely populated, but still with enough bikers- and tourists/hikers-friendly spots to calm down, rest, have a meal or enjoy some extra service offered or just get amazed by mountainous waves all over the place, literally wherever you aim your sights.||||The Ovčárna Hotel, which is a member of the Czech Army accomodation facilities franchise, provides an excellent point to commence your trips, no matter whether being a vivid hiker or biker. As located in the middle of height range between Karlova Studánka spa town and the highest summit of the Jeseníky mountains Praděd (1492 m above mean sea level) with its remarkable building of retlanslator tower on top of it.||||The most recommended spot from which to take a trip - just check any map of the mountains and you will find out, when courageous enough, that not only marked bike paths are valid for the utmost contentment from tough physical biking through wonderful nature laying before you steep hills, water reservoirs, mountain streams, forgotten cottages hidden deep in the woods, waterfalls, rocks enriched with local unique flora and breathtaking proximity of its fauna. Also map-marked scarcely used woodsmen´s roads or even hiking trails are approachable and ready to use - in this case you might face the most strenuous challenges of your lifetime (like from the bottom of the Divoký důl by the blue trail upward to the road from Ovčárna to Praděd with your bike on your shoulders).||||The Hotel Ovčárna, when weather is favourable enough, serves then as a point of return to comfortable and clean apartments (as having been tied up on a daily basis) or to enjoy marvellous meals in own restaurant which let you choose of at least 5 main dishes readily available for you to say how much you want to eat or with what side dish you feel like having it, or, furthermore, taste all of it. It was our first trip to Jeseníky. It is a beautiful place with high hills and amazing deep woods full of plants and animals. If you want to relax, go for long walks and have a great time this is an excellent place.||||The room was large, clean and housekeeping worked perfectly.|| ||We used SPA and masages. They were unbelievable ... very, very pleasant ... we wouldbrecommend that.||||We liked the bar and restaurant. All the weekend there were a lot of food, meat, fruit and vegetables for breakfast, lunch and dinner too.||||All people there were very kind and friendly. The reception was open all the day. Můj druhý pobyt zde. Pokoje jsou nově zrekonstruované, ubytování tedy je vynikající. Stravování je dle mého názoru průměrné. Poloha hotelu nedaleko Pradedu, je v létě výhodná pro turistiku a cykloturistiku. Služby zařízení však vykazují některé nešvary. Moje negativní zkušenosti: Přijel jsem s rodinou na týden a byli jsme ubytováni ve dvou pokojích. To se mi ještě nikde a nikdy nestalo. Je jasné, že nejedu s manželkou a 7letým synem 350 km, abychom bydleli zvlášť. Situace má kapacitní důvody, nicméně by bylo záhodno to s l klienty komunikovat. V sauně dostanete buď jen prostěradlo nebo jen ručník. Já obdržel pouze ručník. Nikde jinde jsem nezažil, že do sauny není prostěradlo, což je nejen nepochopitelné, ale i nehygienické. Bohužel jsem ztratil kartu od pokoje, a proces vybavení je pod poplatkem 400,- Kč (!) a nepřipadáte si moc dobře. Podobná situace byla v komerci na jiném hotelu za celých 0 Kč bez jakýchkoliv problémů. Tentokrát nemohu ani pochválit restauraci/kavárnu. Nyní nevaří, pivo nic moc, hosté často navštěvují raději okolní podniky. Individuální přístup k zákazníkovi je na nízké úrovni. Nemohu říct, že by zde platilo náš zákazník, náš pán.

Celkově dávám 3 hvězdy, ale nemohu doporučit, byť zařízení má své velké výhody a potenciál, a personál v mnohém...
