Unprofessional Handling of a Last-Minute Cancellation!

We booked this hotel in Janov via CHECK24 for a two-night stay. The booking was confirmed by the hotel, and everything seemed fine – until two hours(!!) before check-in, when we received a call from the hotel. We were told that due to a “technical issue,” we could not stay there. Our questions and concerns were not understood (language), and the only response we received was a brief “Sorry.” As a result, we suddenly had no accommodation – 4.5 hours from home, on a holiday weekend when almost everything was fully booked.

We spent several hours on the phone with CHECK24 before a new accommodation was found and confirmed. By around 5:30 p.m., we finally had a place to stay. Although the extra costs were reimbursed, the lost vacation time and stress completely ruined that day!!

While technical problems can happen, leaving guests stranded without real support is unacceptable. Our trust in this hotel is completely lost, and we would not recommend...

The accomadation is oke, but the staff and owner of this place are not giving all the information that’s needed to travel safely. While there was a fire going on and the advices of government was not to walk in the national park, they said it was Oke to go there by car and to go walking in the national park. They said that the government was just lazy not removing all the blocking signs. From the hotel, you could smell the fire and in the evening you saw the horizon lighting up due the fire. I didn’t feel comfortable with the way they played this (really money driving instead of proving correct informations and taking safety...

Hier wurden wir sehr nett empfangen. Die junge Frau sprach offensichtlich Russisch und ganz gut Englisch. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß und es war soweit alles sauber. Die Möbel waren schon relativ abgewohnt und 2 Schubladen der Kommode waren defekt. Das Bett stand in einer Art Nische und es war neben dem Bett so gut wie kein Platz. Das Bett an sich war sehr gut. Trotz unserer orthopädischen Probleme haben wir darin sehr gut liegen können. Die Matratzen waren gut. Das Bad war nicht besonders groß, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Das Waschbecken war winzig. Die Dusche hat gut funktioniert und war schön warm. Zu den Mahlzeiten konnte man drinnen und draußen an einem schön angelegten Rasen sitzen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war klein aber sehr fein. Für uns vollkommen ausreichend. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Neben den normalen Standards gab es auch jeden Tag Rühreier oder Spiegeleier, so wie warme Würstchen oder auch mal Pfannekuchen. Alles wurde frisch zubereitet. Kaffee war OK, hatten wir aber auch schon mal besseren. Die junge Dame, die sich hier offensichtlich um alles kümmert und auch die Küche alleine macht, war sehr freundlich, fleißig und bemüht es war jedoch für eine Person kaum zu schaffen, so dass beim Frühstücksbuffet fast immer irgendetwas leer war. Es gibt direkt am Haus einen kostenfreien Parkplatz, der durch ein elektrisches Tor abgeschlossen ist. Das ist sehr gut. Für 10 € konnte man sich pro Person hier ein Abendessen dazu nehmen. Das ist sehr günstig. Wir haben zweimal hier zu Abend gegessen, das war okay, aber wir haben in Tschechien auch schon wesentlich besseres Essen erhalten. Das Internet hat meistens gut funktioniert, ab und zu ist es mal ausgefallen. Das war dann schon etwas lästig, wenn wir den nächsten Tag planen wollten, da wir hier oben auch keinen Mobilfunkempfang hatten. Insgesamt kann man sagen, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hier...
