GOLF & SKI RESORT OSTRAVICE — Hotel in okres Frýdek-Místek

Right from the start, I wanted to give four and a half start, but sadly I can't.

With that in mind, to my (our) review. Our stay at the resort was really splendid. We visited through Valentine's weekend. Although we weren't accomodated right in the Green In hotel, we were in one of the cabins, room was nice. Nicely decorated room was accompanied with stellar view from our balcony. We had unlimited wellness access, although you need to reserve it.

Our only downside to this was when we wanted to get some dinner in Green Inn hotel (as we had only breakfast in our package). We were ingored for quite some time for that we got apologized for but when we heard complaints all around us (for instance one pair was waiting for their soup for an hour) we decided that we were really hungry and went elsewhere. I am not trying to trash the service or anything we just didn't want to wait in not so full restaurant.

I wil shortly touch the restaurant Guest, because this is not review about restaurant - horrible. I like the course very much. Very well maintained even at this heats the course is green and soft. Front nine is more flat and open however with lot of water hazzards. Second nine is more hilly and more challenging shot into narrow fairways. Greens are fast not difficult to read. Teeboxes were sometimes bit damaged due the heavy golfers traffic. Amenities are perfect good changing rooms, small spa wit jacuzzi and masaages. Receptionist are not always very skilled. Nothing special for the price and value. Try different hotel if tou are looking for the room without golf. Hotel service and people on the reception is often unpleasant but it can survive :-) Breakfast is also normal like 2 or 3 stars hotel. Rooms are also same, air condition are too loud. Wellness is small and don’t have a swimming pool just one whirpool - jacuzzi, one sauna and steam bath.
