Boutique hotel Nebespán — Hotel in okres Klatovy

Probably caught a really bad day, as we were told by the stuff. I booked the place for 1 pm for a family lunch. When we arrived the restaurant was full. We were told that they were very sorry, but the kitchen "slipped" and people who were sitting on our reservation hadn't been served. They did not have any suggestion for us and let us linger by the bar with our little daughter. We were not offered any drinks, no optional seating. When the rest of the family arrived we were waiting another half an hour to be seated with still no drinks, no menu. Finally we got our table. Summery, booking at 1 pm, food served at 2.40 with no cutlery. It was hard to believe this was the restaurant recommended everywhere. Everything went wrong. Such a pity. It has a really great potential and very nice atmosphere, food was enjoyble, but after such an experience, not fully appreciated. We were offered free coffee as a compensation, which was nice. I could recommend this cafe only in quite times, they are not prepared for a busy Easter weekends. last week end we was not have accomodationin those place, but near by to Kasper hotel, we gone there to taste the restaurant, amasing surprise, the food where really high standard, well seasoned and cooked, i got some goose terrine really tasty with fresh french bread, and my honey geta fish hot pot that was tasting as those we can eat in south of France, following i got a really amasing & tasty burger, wine was also good, despite the service (the man waiter was apparently little bit drunk), we go again on sunday for lunch and got excellent roasted ham and delicate roastbeef with tasty smooth Béarnaise sauce, (those time the womenwaiter service was almost perfect)||dessert & cake are also well realised and tasty||we spoke with the Chef, who is french, and got a strong gastronomy knowledge & world wide expérience ( my wife is also working in hospitality business"Marriott & Hilton") and was nice speaking with him||we willbe backthere as soonare we will be in the region again and we willtry those time the hotel service||i warmly recommend this place to all trip advisor reader||Mike...

I spent a weekend with friends in this hotel, based on a FB reference.||Arranging with the owners went without a problem, and we were impressed from the beginning as we arrived - when the main waiter warmly welcomed us to feel like at home. ||||The rooms, especially the new ones, are cosy and beautiful - each unique and decorated with a special touch for detail. Some rooms have the nowadays popular glass-wall bathroom (with a shade). We had a problem in one room with odor from the pipes (we were told they are trying to repair that). The larger appartments are very spacious, also very cosy and nice - perfect even for families. The location is directly on the square of pictoresque Kasperske hory, so it is a perfect starting point for trips to mountains, castle, or to just enjoy the relaxing atmospehere. ||||Breakfast was delicious, with local and home-made products.
