PLEASE, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL !! Before I unpack, I had to clean. The wardrobe was all sticky. And continued sticky after I cleaned it. I had to put a hand towel under my clothes. The lemon juice for the tea on the table was so stale that there was no juice inside, there was some kind of black paste inside...Not to say, there was one tea cup and one coffee cup for two people. One of the pillows on the bed was very tall, the other one almost missing. One of the beds was like a ski slope, maybe 30 degree inclination...Every day I thought the maid is going to make our room because when we went out for breakfast, she was making the other rooms ( and I understood why my towel smelled bad ) - a pile of "clean" towels were waiting on the floor in the corridor to be placed in a new clean room. On the floor!! We had a reservation for 4 nights. After check-in in our room with a filthy flooring we realize our bathroom only has 2 body lotions and 2 hair conditioners. We think it's a mistake and go to the reception to ask for shampoo and shower gel. They say they don't use, they just use conditioner! ??? Never heard of this in my life and I travel a lot. One of the shower towels smells like freshly washed, the other one...smells funny. Anyway, I took a shower with it but decided I do not have to use a towel that smells bad in a 3-star hotel and I left it on the floor to be changed. At night, back to the hotel after spending all day long in the city, my towel is still on the wet bathroom floor. The room is not made. I ask for a towel at the reception. A very kind girl says she doesn't have any but finally gives me one from the wellness part. Third night back at the hotel, my wet towel from the floor, is nicely folded back to the rack, still wet. The hair dryer is back in the bathroom ( I had left it on the desk in the room), one more toilet paper roll and that's it. No toiletries. 3 days, 2 people with one tiny hotel soap for hands, showers and everything. I had to go buy a shampoo and duche gel. In a 3-star hotel? The breakfast was the best thing. Very rich. You couldn't ask for more. You have variety of hams, cheeses, sausages, breads, scrambled eggs, stewed vegetables, ricotta spread, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, lots of juices, tea, coffee, variety of cereal, cake, budding, chocolate spread, jams, honey ,butter, you name it! We stayed from 1st to 5th October 2021 in a...
Read moreIf you wonder about accomodation in Liberec and you choose Wellness travel hotel Pytloun because of its spa, I must tell you, that this is a bad choice. I called there immediately after my booking done( 5 days in advance) to be sure that there would be a free space for us to enjoy the spa, but there were just two hours availible (17.00-18.00 and 22.30- 23.30) and one hour costs 900 CZK there. That is i a pretty much, if you consider the quality and appearance of the rest of the hotel and its placement in the city.|So we chose this hotel because of its spa, but we didnt use it at all. |The road, that leads to the hotel is really bad, there is no hard path and it has so many holes, that if you are not a super driver, you may damage your car. Parking lot is not big enough for all hotel guests. |When we first came to the apartment, we couldnt find the main light button, so we went to the desk. Staff was great and helpful, so he changed our room and told us, that they are run of new light bulbs. But we came to the new room and had the same problem. Then we found out, that the button right next to the door doesnt work because you need to come in the dark right close to the bed and a button, that works is on the wall in the middle up the bed. That was weird.|We also found strange that right to the tea and coffee on the table was prepared a pretty sharp knife, so if you'd travel with a child and don't know it, it could be really damgerous.|As for the quality of our sleep - we woke up several times during the night, because there were people running in the coridors, sohouting and everything from other rooms(from sounds from their bathroom to them enjoying their night alone) was pretty hearable.|If you wonder between Pytloun travel hotel and Pytloun Boutique in the centre, just sacrifice this little amount of money for your comfort and give your body a little bit of rest. And you can use Babylon spa or sauna in the city swimmingpool nearly for...
Read moreWe had reservation for 6 peaple but we received only 5 beds!!! It's not a hotel - it's hostel. 3 stars they had maybe 25 years ago. Standards are very low. I would give them highly 1 star. Rooms are very small, there's no space for anything. Bathroom is awful and looks like in comuna sowiet Union times. Kitchen was so dirty that it was disgusting to eat there. Fridge was too small for 6 people and was working louder than than builders on construction sides in front of hotel. It was loud during mornings, impossible to sleep. Sink wasn't working properly just like shower where you can wait 10 minutes for hot water. Toilet paper? Here you can forgot about it. If you want hotel with swimming pool here you won't find it because 1. You have to pay additionaly 2. It's so awful and dirty as hell, water is green. We didn't revived one bed and second one was broken so... Toilet downstairs has instruction how to wash hands but there's no soap or toilet paper and it was dirty. Also we reserved this amazing Wellness zone with dirty swimming pool and one hour before they called us with some problems. We were there so relaxed!!! Also there's no lift so have fun with carrying your lagguage on 3rd floor or higher. Location is just scaring. Street looks like from horror movies with low budget. Very run down place with no standards at all. What is more Personel was talking In Czech, they can't speak any English or their English is poorer than beggers on the Liberec's streets (btw very dirty city with nothing too see just main Square). Also they told us to pay taxes for staying in this ugly city but on booking it was included in the price! Scaming people :)
Good points were that personel was quite nice and smiling. Also breakfast was quite good but coffee machine was not working first day so...
Highly do...
