Pytloun Apartments — Hotel in okres Liberec

We stayed here for a couple days to explore Liberec and the surroundings. In general I would say it's a good option to stay but there are a few minor remarks if you're interested in booking. The apartments are inside a local apartment complex inside a quiet neighborhood.

Parking: *EDIT ON ORIGINAL: unfortunately we found that someone drained the air out of half of our tires and stole the protective caps. Luckily I had a mobile air compressor and no damage to the tire. Might be because of foreignor plates and the locals living here don't like their spot blocked. Had to park last day at the hotel 20 minutes away which really sucks. Left a bitter memory and cost us a couple of hours to solve.

Key: you have to pick it up from a hotel that's a couple minutes by car, but a lot further if you travel on foot or with public transport. You do have a free welcome drink in the lobby.

Stairs: not a problem for me, but be aware that you have to get up some steps before you are in the apartment. There's no elevator as far as I could tell. Also the bed is located above so you have to climb a small staircase.

The place is quiet although we did hear neighbours playing loud music from time to time with bass tones going through the walls. At night it was very quiet.

Temperature at arrival was very warm. There's no climate control but opening the windows helped to cool it down. The sleeping area is also very warm because it's high up.

Great value for the money. I could find a parking space each time of 6-night stay.

The neighbourhood was mostly quiet, still there was some kind of concert at nearby pub at Friday, which was pretty loud. But it finished at 22.30 approximately, so it was ok.

The rooms were clean and full of light. But when you are entering the room you really will want to open the windows to get some fresh air. I guess it was a furniture smell. Not dramatic though.

The apartment had enough space because of the second floor with the bed. It was quite enough for a couple for the week stay.

The apartment itself is okay, everything works as it should and enough space for 2 people.

Cooking is not recommended since there are no cutting boards and a lack of sharp knives.

Parking is pretty bad, and somebody drained the air out of the tires of our car, so if you have foreign numberplates, I would not recommend you go here by car. After the incident the Pytloun let us park on the hotel parking, but where no other help in resolving the situation. And the hotel is a 20 min walk from the apartment so not very convenient.

Also there was a lot of noise and music coming from neighbors and the street.

Overall probably wouldn't book it again, but the city Liberec is still really pretty and...
