Hotel Elko — Hotel in okres Náchod

We spent in this hotel only one night, but were very nicely surprised how the hotel is. It is located about 10-15 minutes of walk from downtown in a quiet area. The hotel has only few rooms and it is family bussiness which keeps it clean and very helpful and friendly for the guests. The rooms are of a smaller size, but you can find everything needed there - comfortable bed, private WC together with shower, balcony... In the groundfloor there is a restaurant where you can enjoy tasty regional food. The breakfast is a buffet style with adequate choice of several types of food. ||In the downtown you can find a nice square with a castle located on the hill. A little farer the brewery is located. If you have time just go there to visit it and try every 24 sorts of bier produced there :-) Their beer has won a lot...

40 euros a night for a double en suite. Very clean and includes a continental breakfast. Good base to tour the fabulous areas of rocks and countrside. We ate there the evening we arrived - good meal and lots to drink came to about 60 euros for the 4 of us. Great value. Staff very friendly and efficient but very little English spoken so be prepared to point, use your Czech phrase book, or use your German if you know any. Tento útulný rodinný hotel vedou moc milí a ochotní majitelé. Bydleli jsme v dostatečně prostorném a dobře vybaveném pokoji s manželskou postelí, psacím stolem a sprchovým koutem. Snídaně se každý den trošku obměňovaly, jednou byla vajíčka na měkko, jindy volská oka se sýrem na šunce nebo míchaná vejce se šunkou či párky. Kromě toho ovoce, zelenina, salámy, sýry, vločky, jogurty... Jídla je tak akorát, abyste se dobře najedli a přitom se neplýtvalo, což oceňujeme. Čaj a káva se připravují čerstvé. V sezóně a přes pracovní týden funguje od oběda do večera restaurace s taktéž úžasným a pozorným personálem, který nám vyšel ve všem vstříc. Měli jsme mimo jiné speciální přání ohledně podávání a pan kuchař si to zapamatoval i do dalších dní, ačkoliv já jsem málem zapomněla. Jídlo...
