Hotel Javor Restaurant — Hotel in okres Náchod

Our experience at the restaurant was excellent. A quick search will show you there are few options for accommodations and food in the Adrspach area during the dead of winter. We found a warm, festive restaurant filled with like-minded families. There were plates of homemade cookies on each table for appetizers and a warm fire burning in the central fireplace. There was a full menu of traditional Czech dishes which were hearty, filling, and very reasonably priced (we paid a total of US$45 for a family of 5, by credit card). Like many businesses affected by COVID, I expect this place was feeling the effects too. There was only one waiter, but he kept after a room full of multiple large families without skipping a beat. Spent 2 nights at the hotel as a family and cannot recommend this: We could not check in 30 min earlier as rooms were being "cleaned". Decided to have lunch in the restaurant- food OK but overpriced, slow and inattentive service. Then waited another 10 minutes for the check-in (single person for hotel reception and whole restaurant). Room was not very clean and pictures did not correspond to actual room. Strong smell of burnt oil from the kitchen in the whole building. Breakfast was average at best-instant coffee and water reduced orange juice. I want to highlight that I'm only reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel! ||In March 2019 I organized a trip to the Adrspach - Teplice Rocks for a group of 35 people and needed to find a place where we could have lunch. ||I was lucky to find Hotel Javor!||I made the reservation with Mr. Sorge and he served us on the day as well.
