Hotel Střelnice — Hotel in okres Náchod

We stayed at Strelnice in October 2018. We chose to stay in Teplice nad Metuji because it is close to the southern entrance to Teplice Rocks and it is a quaint and picturesque Czech village. The owner, Mila was super helpful and friendly. She quickly responded to emails with our many questions before our stay. Since we||took an early the train from Praha to the Teplice nad Metuji station, we arrived before our room was ready. Mila graciously agreed to hold onto our bags so we could go hiking. In addition, while we were getting ready to head out she was able to surprise us. She had been able to manage to get us an early check in so we could freshen up after traveling The room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. A nice luxury for the bathroom was a towel warmer. The hotel itself has wonderful woodwork. It has a full restaurant with classic Czech dishes that was very good. There is also a beautiful outdoor patio that would be excellent for events. There is a local grocery store and several other small restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The train station is a 5-10 minute walk up the hill. Make sure you get off at the Teplice nad metuji stop rather than the Teplice main station. While in Teplice be sure to visit the amazing Teplice Rocks! In Addition to the southern end of the park, be sure to also visit the Aardspach entrance. The rock formations have completely different feel between the two ends of the park. It is easy to take a train to the Aardspach entrance and walk back. The worst in a long time, I usually give great reviews, but this was really bad from A to Z. I understand that some dishes take time, but we waited for three quarters of an hour for the finished koulada, when asked if they had forgotten the answer: "I don't know, we have here people.". Mam bardzo mieszane uczucia do tego hotelu z restauracją, bo na każdy plus przypada jakiś minus. Pierwsze wrażenie: ładny hotel, widać, że zadbany, z tradycją (jak wynika z menu - 150 letnią tradycją), gustownie urządzony. Dostajemy pokój - maleńki, ale wydaje się czysty i uroczy. Pierwszy zgrzyt - brak ręczników i środków czystości. Zgłaszamy problem - dostajemy zestaw ręczników. Środków czystości - nie. Restauracja ulokowana nad strumykiem, ładny, przyjemny ogródek. Zamawiamy piwo, wodę i przystawkę. Piwo i woda docierają, o przystawkę muszę upomnieć się 30 minut później - ewidentnie o niej zapomniano. Jest jednak tak dobra, że wybaczam im błąd. Następnie zamawiamy jedzenie i kolejne piwo. I tu zaskoczenie - jedzenie dociera 25 minut później - przed piwem! Kolejny raz zapomniano. Albo było to najdłużej lane piwo w Czechach ;) Jest sobotni wieczór i o dziwo krząta się tu tylko jeden kelner. Nie wiem zupełnie jakby miał sobie poradzić sam na kilkadziesiąt osób, restauracja zdecydowanie powinna dać mu kogoś do pomocy. Niemniej jedzenie pyszne. Pan przeprasza, więcej zgrzytów nie ma. Wracamy na noc do pokoju, który wg opisu miał być pokojem z balkonem. Balkon co prawda jest, ale nie przynależny bezpośrednio do pokoju, tylko jest "przedsionkiem" do 3 pokoi na tym piętrze. Swoją drogą to chyba kiedyś był jeden pokój, a aktualnie podzielony jest na trzy - prawdopodobnie jakąś cienką płytą, sądząc po odgłosach. Akustyka jest taka, że słyszymy bardzo wyraźnie o czym rozmawiają sąsiedzi, jaki kanał leci w ich TV i kto bierze prysznic. Biorąc pod uwagę ten fakt - cieszymy się, że mamy spokojnych i cichych sąsiadów, którzy po prysznicu kładą się spać. Śniadanie okazuje się bardzo bogate, smaczne, produkty świeże. I być może to właśnie śniadanie dodałoby dodatkową gwiazdkę, gdyby nie fakt, że po śniadaniu chłopak odkrył tajemnicę, dlaczego się nie wyspał. Miał kilkanaście pogryzień przez pluskwy!!!! PLUSKWY w hotelu! Także polecam restaurację, ale nie w weekend, hotelu...
