We got a bigger room instead of double room so we had a balcony. The room was big, clear and warm. The staff was friendly, helped us to exchange money.||The pension location is perfect to start a walk to Teplicke rocks. A bathroom was clean and spacious enough.||There was no eating facilities or something in the room, only one glass in the bathroom. Poor isolation from outside so it can be a little bit noisy in the morning because there is a big car parking place outside (Teplice rocks parking). There was no problem with a parking place but we were there in very early of the season, it can be very busy in high season. But on the begining of May we were only one in all pension. There wasn't even host here for the night. But it is ok. This place (not in the season) is quiet, peaceful and good enough for the price. From your balcony you can hear like birds are singing and river is flowing. It is more noisy here during day time but when these all visitors of Adrspach Rocks and Teplice Rocks are gone it is again quiet and nice.||We didn't try the restaurant but around this pension there a few restaurant where you can have some snack or serious eat.||This place is good if you are planing to visit these Adrspach/Teplice Rocks and looking for a place to stay for one night.||Note that at night in the nearest village (Teplice nad Metuji) there are no open shops (we didn't found any) and no open bars. At night it looks that residents of this village is absolutely gone and there is no...
Read moreLocation: fine, because we were in town specifically to visit the rock formations nearby and the hotel is right at the trailhead. The B&B isn't well signed-posted, though.||||Parking: plenty of it and easily accessible - it's a big parking lot. Note, though, in high season it is likely to be full.||||The room: for the price 1675 CZK in early October, I guess this is reasonable. It was three of us in a 4-person room. Two of the beds were bunk beds. The room was reasonably clean, as was the bathroom. Not Sheraton clean, but this isn't the Sheraton and nor is the price. It was quiet, too.||||Beds: as I noted, two bunk beds and two singles put together. The singles were pretty standard for this part of the world and this type of accommodation. The bunk bed was comfortable enough according to our traveling companion.||||WIFI/Internet: worked fine. Not fast, but good enough.||||B&B breakfast: ok. Standard-sized spread of standard Central European breakfast things (bread rolls, cheese, meat, butter, jam, coffee, orange juice, water, corn flakes, musli, milk).||||Restaurant: the same place where breakfast is served also does dinner and, presumably, lunch. We had dinner and it was ok. Not great, but cheap and reasonably plentiful.||||Misc note: no trash bin...
Read moreThe WiFi worked only in the restaurant downstairs. The rooms were not within the range of the access point. The issue was that in this hilly region neither LTE not EDGE work, so as a result there was no Internet whatsoever in the room.
The private bathroom was not actually private. It was located in a corridor adjacent to two rooms. One of these rooms (a 2+2 room for families) had a private bathroom, the other room didn't, we were to use the bathroom in the corridor. This bathroom in the corridor was ment for this one room only, but you count not use it freely, you had to get dressed first.
The bathroom's ventilation system was broken completely.
The room was not clean, no one vacuumed under the bed and under the cabinet.
The Pros:
The staff was very nice and helpful.
The location was perfect, just by the entrance to Skalne Miasto.
The room included a free parking which usually costs 100KCz.
The price for the...
