Hostel u Arény — Hotel in okres Ostrava-město

We were driving from Poland further south and we desperately needed an accomodation. The hotel personnel whom I was speaking with was super understandable despite the language barrier. She managed to get us a room while we were driving! Full credit for service!|Inside we had a room with very simple furniture and decoration. The room was super clean and functional, even though the room cost us only 38 euros or 950 Czech korunas. The bathroom had working shower, but the shower curtains dropped mid-shower. Turns out they were attached to the surrounding walls by duct tape, that's why four stars. The bed was also very, very soft and it kept your sleeping posture really well. Last time I slept as well as in this bed was years ago.|The location is also pretty decent. It's located in Vitkovice, which is a bit further away from the city centre, but the neighbourhood where it's located is pne of the quieter and safer than the other parts of the city.|Overall: the hotel was very solid and i would visit again. We were visiting Ostrava to see the Dolní oblast Vítkovice. We were two families and did look for available cheap appartments close to this attraction. From here you can walk in 15 min or go 2 stations by tram. The accomodation had in one flat two big rooms with four beds and one room with two beds. There is a TV in each room, wifi available. The flat has a bathroom and a full equiped kitchen. Close to the accomodation is a shop, where we did buy in the morning the breakfast. The place is simple, but clean and silent. The owner is very friendly and helpful. She offered to pick us up at the tram - as we were coming by public transportation. I don't know who take the red building picture but it's not correct. The building is city hall an far from the hostel. I added the entrance of the hostel. This hostel is one of the best hostel I have been. Clean, specious and nicely equipped. There is everything you need. Small shared kitchen, clean bathroom ans large wardrobe. Besides all rooms located in a kind of flat and it xan be locked and it gives you peace of mind. I really happy to book places from this hostel.
