Interhotel America — Hotel in okres Písek

The hotel is located in in the edge of Písek town next to the forest. Without car-navigation it is not easy to get here, by public transport is the hotel not accessible. In front of hotel there is small parking place. From the first moment you will see that hotel is old.||||If you enter the main entrance you will immediately smell the strong smell of the swimming pool. From the first moment I had doubts about hotel cleaning and maintenance. In all common spaces you will see missing bulbs - hotel tries to save its money on lightning.. The room was spacious but really ugly. Equipment is old. I don´t understand why the hair-dryer is placed next to the TV and not in the bathroom!?||||The only kind surprise was the hotel restaurant. The waiter was kind and the cuisine was very good. The dinner was good, breakfast not bad.||||I can´t understand why it is still possible that in Czech Republic can still exist hotel like this - with 4 star on the facade and in the advertising but in fact it is clear 2*! I can´t also understand how it is possible that hotel has in the reception desk HRS diploma from 2014 as a recommended hotel!? We have left hotel after one night despite the fact of that I had prepaid 2-days accomodation packet. For the reception staff it was...

I booked this hotel as a birthday present for my husband and it was one big disappointment. The hotel absolutely does not correspond a 4* hotel standard. The room and the bathroom were equipped with the most basic and cheap stuff. To plug in the hair dryer we had to use an extension cord which was just lying on the floor and about five other cables were plugged in it. No safety at all! The pool area was not especially tidy and there were no towels available. On the next day we just decided to leave right after the breakfast which was pretty poor and generally the whole restaurant reminded me of the old communist times. Pictures on the hotel website are incredibly misleading so please if you want to enjoy a nice time with 4* hotel service, do not stay...

This hotel has 4 stars, but when you step in it looks inside as from time of komunist 20 years ago.||Rooms are quite big and clean problem is ald look as I mentioned in first sentence, this fits for whole hotel.||Restaurant has very good kitchen and they do very tasty food.||Swimming pool is small approximately 10m length ,but nearly always empty ,only for you, opening hours is until 10 p.m. They have also sauna in hotel.||Hotel is situated out of centre of city Písek, what can be advantage or disadvantage for guests.||Near hotel is small forest,so tehre is oportunity to go out for a walk.Near hotel are also tenis courts.||Summary: if you are guest with high demands it is not hotel for you, but if not is nice place for business trip and...
