Hotel Panorama — Hotel in okres Plzeň-město

The hotel is situated outside city centre in a residential area and actually not easy to find. The parking lot was almost empty every day, so lot of space. We did not see many other guests at the hotel apart from us. The breakfast area was empty with little food to choose from. The dinner we had was expensive and not very good. The room had poor lighting and so did the stairs up from the lobby as the electricity was activated, probably by moving sensor. I stumbled couple of times, before I figured out how it works, but this is not supposed to happen at all. Couple of time we experienced that we were gazed at by the staff from other areas having views to the breakfast area, which was strange. During breakfast we experienced staff coming to us to take order, only never to come back. The children were confused and dissapointed over this kind of service, and we got less breakfast. The staff was not service-oriented at any moment...

We spent 2 nights in this hotel and were really satisfied. Room was clean and cozy, wellness is a bit small but really lovely and quite new - so private usage of this area is highly redommended. Location is not perfect, but the city centre is easily reachable via public transport and is not far away. Pilsen as a city is really great, would recommend visit to the Pilsner Urquell brewery and the biggest czech pub called "Spilka". Restaurant in this hotel is not something special, but is sufficient (speaking about dinner/lunch). Breakfast is free and really good. Parking is also free. Staff was friendly and helpful.
