We spent four days with family, dog and friends and we all expected much more based on reviews we read before. ||Location is not the best in this area. It is next to ski lift but it is unfortunately not allowed for small children is it is a single seat lift that is high and not safe enough. Dog walking is bad as you can only follow the high street which is relatively busy and very dark in the evening. ||Rooms are a bit older and on the ground floor very small. However, four bed room on the top floor was fine. Heating was great. Quality of sleeping is ok too. ||Food: breakfasts were more than fine, good fresh bakery but you must come earlier to have all food available. Prepaid dinners were really horrible and absolutely did not meet price levels. 2of3 options were meatless and choices were very limited. So, I would strongly recommend not to prepay dinners and order food from the whole menu when you are there as the quality is much higher then. ||Atmosphere: extremelly friendly and professional communication (via phone and email) before we came. However, the staff there was clearly not motivated at all. They behaved as they were not paid. They were not arrogant but they hardly greeted you in the morning. We always had to call them to get service. ||So, overall less than mean experience (2.5). Older and not much friendly hotel. Sewerage was very smelly all the time. The room is not cleaned - clumps of dust, obviously not vacuumed carpet, foreign hair in the drawer in the bathroom, the heating ladder is terribly dusty, ... Due to my allergy to dust, an immediate request to clean the room. The response was that the maid was there on the first day and it would be fixed right away. After about an hour, the room was returned with the words that it was cleaned, from another lady. However, the room was only vacuumed. Dust and dirt, foreign hair, etc. still in place (despite the fact that we showed and said exactly where the mess was in the photos). The young waitress told us upon arrival that if anything was wrong, we should contact her. At this she arrogantly told us that she does not clean here and is here alone and put a rag in our hands to wipe it off.|The operator came to ask us about it the next day, but my allergies really didn't wait until the next day, so we cleaned the room ourselves with a borrowed rag after the four-hour journey to the holiday accommodation. The operating lady was nice, she tried to offer us some compensation - coffee and dessert.|I have to praise the food very much! Either a selection at breakfast or an ordered dinner. Fast preparation, excellent food.|Another minus for me is that the staff constantly sits in front of the entrance and smokes. The first couple of nights we stayed just two uf us and it was the smallest room i have been to since student visit in London 25 years ago. It actually made me wonder how they got the bed in :-) but great bed and very nice sheets. Didn’t sleep well though.... the sound carriers across the hotel... for the last night we moved into a family room as our daughter joined and that was really nice spacious apartment with two separate rooms.||The dining in the restaurant was amazing! Excellent food. Small meu but everything we had was delicious. We ended up eating there 2 nights...
