Hotel Parkán Prachatice — Hotel in okres Prachatice

I would definitely recommend this hotel- I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome on my first time in the Czech Republic and not speaking a word of Czech! The staff were very friendly and always happy to give advice on places to eat, local information and so on. They allowed us to keep race bikes safe in our rooms (I was there to race the Xterra Czech Triathlon)||The hotel is an amazing 700 year old building, so has great character, although it is comfortably furnished inside. There is no lift although this is not a problem for an athlete! Breakfast was great- loads of choices both healthy and unhealthy, and you could eat outside on the terrace in the sun :-) Location is also perfect, just a minute's walk from the central square of the town yet quiet and peaceful. It was great value for a single room and I would definitely stay here again if I do the race...

Located in historical centre of the very nice town of Prachatice, nearly on the old fortifications. It is a simple hotel, but clean and inexpensive. The size of the rooms is standard, sufficient. No coffee set is proposed which is quite justified considering the price of about 20 Euro. The breakfast is simple but very good. Excellent choice to discover the town and the surrounding super nice...

Nice service and large clean room. 1400 Century Building. The hotel is situated in the center of the city in a narrow street. Two parking lots in front but public parking nearby. At the time we were here (late May) there were only breakfast restaurant. The breakfast was fine and the surroundings also.
