Pension U boiler Ltd. — Hotel in okres Semily

In winter (when it's snowy) the place is literally inaccessible and the staff doesn't care at all. We had a reservation, there is an information at booking that the place doesn't have a parking lot, but there should be some arrangements, for example renting the parking slots from nearby hotels or using the public parking lot. The paid public parking lot nearby is only open till 10 pm in winter, cuz at night its being cleaned by snowplows and you can't park there. The next nearest public parking lot is 5km from the hotel. The hotel staff won't pick you up, they told us to walk up the narrow mountain road without any street lamps with our luggage. It's suicide... The first car on the road would kill us. We refused and called booking phone line. After explaining, the booking staff started the annulment procedure. The hotel had to agree to give us back prepaiment (half of the total price) because it was "the big boss" booking asking, yet they still didn't pay it back in the time given to them. Luckily because our deal was with booking and not the hotel, booking paid back the money and they would get the money back from the hotel themselves. If we had the reservation without booking, we would never get our money back. It looks like this is how the hotel gets money in winter. People go to that area for winter sports in winter and that place can't be reached at all then, not to mention people coming with their ski or snowboard equipment. In our opinion hotel just charges half of the money upfront, people try to go there and since it is impossible, they give up and book someplace else and since the process of getting back the money is totally messed up from the hotel's side, most people probably just...

The Hut is located 1km from Horni Misecky isolated from civilization in woods. You have to leave your car in the village. The interior is quite old and old-fashioned, the cheapest rooms just with shower in the room corner. But the service (1 man for all - enough for out of season) is a nice guy ready to do what and when ever you need. For this region low prices as well. So if you do not need comfort and ready to enjoy 80's in communist mountains atmosphere then this is the right...

Was für eine schöne Unterkunft! Wir waren 5 Nächte über Silvester hier und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Buchung war einfach über Email, Preise absolut angemessen.

Zimmer sind rustikal eingerichtet aber sehr bequem (tolles Bett!) mit super Aussicht. Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind schön urig und mit dem brennenden Feuer perfekt um sich nach einem langen Schneetag aufzuwärmen. Unbedingt nach Whirlpool und Sauna fragen!

Wir hatten Halbpension. Das Frühstück war super reichhaltig (gesundes sowie schwereres), Abendessen immer lecker (Suppe und danach richtig leckere Hausmannskost). Auch waren alle Mitarbeiter freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

Die Lage der Pension ist toll - abgelegen mitten im Wald (ca. 2km Fußmarsch vom Parkplatz im Winter, man kann sich mit einem Schneemobil abholen lassen), direkt an mehreren Skipisten und Wanderwegen gelegen. Wirklich schön für alle, die Ruhe suchen.

Bei Winterankunft unbedingt das Schneemobil verbuchen, ansonsten wird es schwer mit Gepäck über den verschneiten Wanderweg...
